Our stay at Nari Swari was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we felt genuinely welcomed and treated like part of the family. Wayan took exceptional care of us throughout our entire stay. His warmth, kindness and hospitality made this experience truly unforgettable. The villa itself was spotless – the level of cleanliness was outstanding – and waking up each morning surrounded by the beautiful rice fields was simply breathtaking. The peaceful location offers an authentic Bali experience that we will never forget. One of the absolute highlights was the trekking tour through the rice fields with Wayan. He took so much time to explain everything to us, sharing his knowledge about local life, Balinese traditions and the surrounding nature. It gave us a much deeper appreciation of this beautiful island and its culture. We were also fortunate enough to enjoy a private cooking class with Wayan, his wife and their son right at our villa. Together, we prepared a traditional Indonesian chicken dish. It became so much more than just a cooking class – it was a wonderful family experience filled with laughter, stories and genuine connection. As if all of this wasn’t already special enough, on our final day we received an incredible invitation to join Wayan and his family at their home for an important Balinese ceremony that takes place only once every six months. Being welcomed into such a meaningful and personal celebration was a tremendous honour and a privilege we will never forget. Afterwards, we were treated to an authentic Balinese breakfast, another beautiful example of the family’s generosity and kindness. It is rare to find a place that offers not only beautiful accommodation, but also such heartfelt hospitality and authentic cultural experiences. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. Thank you, Wayan, and thank you to your entire family, for opening your hearts, your home and sharing your traditions with us.
