Made Putu homestay

The hosts are so lovely and very generous.. We had a lovely stay. The room is spacious and clean with a big bed. They have two rooms in there family garden our pine was next to their temple courtyard. Close to central sidemen with restaurants and some nice walks through their rice fields.

Todo increíble, me atrevo a decir que es el en mejor hotel que he estado en mi vida, y he estado en miles… Me sentía como en casa, Made y Putu se comportarok de 10/10 conmigo y todo fue tan agradable, me trataron como a un hijo, me dieron comida, bebida y me enseñaron la AUTENTICA Bali que era lo que yo buscaba. Estoy seguro que repetiré, porque esta experiencia fue increíble.❤️

We had two wonderful days by Made and Putu!!! They are both so warm and welcoming; here you’ll experience the Bali you’ve always dreamed of. The accommodation is modern, the beds are comfortable, the location is quiet yet central for a walk through the rice paddies, and Putu is a fantastic cook who truly pampers her guests. In the evening we were allowed to try playing Gamelan under guidance. You’ll be welcomed with open arms, as if you were family. Sidemen is so beautiful, we would like to come back here in their homestay. Made also gave us a ride to our next destination at a fair price. It was only two nights, but we left as friends. The homestay is well located in Sidemen, in a pleasant and quiet setting. The room is spacious, and the breakfast served was of good quality.

I do not recommend organizing your transfers with the homestay. After our stay in Sidemen, we wanted to go to Nusa Lembongan. The host offered to arrange the transfer, and we chose to trust him, which we unfortunately regretted afterward. He assured us that a ferry left Kusamba at 9 a.m. to avoid the waves and therefore advised a departure from the homestay at 7:30 a.m. Once we arrived at the port, we learned that the ferry actually only left at 10:30 a.m., and the sea conditions were rougher. So, we had to wait for 2.5 hours for the departure. Another unpleasant surprise: the ferry did not go directly to Nusa Lembongan but to Nusa Ceningan. We then had to take a bus and walk to reach our final destination. On top of that, the transportation fare between the homestay and the port was significantly higher — 100,000 rupiah more than the price offered through the Grab app. Therefore, I recommend being cautious about the services offered by the homestay. Finally, regarding the room, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom as well as a high humidity level.
