Perfect for short stay at a reasonable price

On the property there are only 2 rooms, both very new, modern and super clean! Maybe the cleanest accommodation in Bali what I had, so the room was very good. Breakfast was also provided and it was delicious. There are several restaurants in walking distance. As a solo traveller it was an important factor for me. The host was speaking very good English. For 1-2 nights it it fine to stay here. I would re-book.

To access the property you have to go through some aread where you are not really able to pull your luggage, and in the garden of the area there was a construction going on. In the morning you might wake up early because of the roosters. They are really loud! FYI-There are stairs to go up to the rooms because they are on an upper floor.

I had a lovely time here at Taman Kencana, it will always remain fondly in my memory!

The property had everything I needed, comfortable big bed, great bathroom with hot water and good water pressure. Air conditioning was excellent! A lovely, private plunge pool, you are not overlooked. The kitchen was well equipped should you need it. Hot and cold drinking water on tap. Sri cooked a beautiful, breakfast each morning, with plenty of choices. Both Tuana, Sri and their family were very friendly and accommodating. Also, the location is excellent, 10 minutes walk into the heart of Ubud! I would not hesitate to book to stay here!

Amazing hospitality to match the views!

We grew fondly of the young man who run the place, went above and beyond for our needs - took us to an ATM when asking where the closest one was, and helped recommend and taxi us to the trips we wanted to do during our stay. Brought us up breakfast each morning, and had the most incredible view from the room. 100% recommend staying here if you were to visit Sidemen, one of our favourite rooms we stayed in as a result of the view and hospitality we encountered.

There was ongoing construction outside of our room which was quite noisy, but not too bad if you're out for the day - staff apologised about the ongoing construction upon arrival. Limited supply of hot water whilst having a shower.

The hotel was very clean, and the location was easy to find. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby, which made it very convenient.

In the early mornings, there was some noise from chickens and dogs. Since the hotel is close to rice fields, quite a few insects could enter the room.

Great place for Sidemen!

Very new and very clean room. Good AC and comfortable bed. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English.

The roosters were very loud even during the night which made sleeping even with earplugs a bit challenging. I would also suggest some hand soap, somewhere to hang your hand towel in the bathroom as well as somewhere to put your shampo in the shower

Gorgeous little homestay in the heart of sideman

The location was prime! Right in the heart of Sideman. The room was clean, well air conditioned and had an absolutely priceless view. The complimentary brekkie every morning brought to our room was the cherry on top. The hosts are so friendly and have done an amazing job

Really nice!

I was there only for one night, but you can tell the room is brand new. The hosts were welcoming and super nice, breakfast was served in the room facing the mountains, my stay there was really comfortable. Close to a lot of restaurants, if you have a motorbike. Room is spacious, has a desk, wardrobe, 2 doors, one facing the mountains and another one to the back so if you want fresh air you can really have it, A/C is great

The street to get inside the guesthouse is pretty narrow to reach with the motorbike, so watch out. They are working on the patio/building new rooms so it's a bit of a construction site in the back, but nothing that impacted my experience

Clean homestay with really nice owner

We were sick during our stay, and the owner took amazing care of us. We got breakfast in bed, and whenever we needed something, the response on WhatsApp was very quick, usually within 1-10 minutes. The room was very clean. We definitely recommend this place!

It was a bit hard to find in the dark, as there’s no road that goes directly to the homestay.

Highly Recommend!

The host, Gede was an absolute gem of a person. Centrally located and clean and hygienic. Very new construction, so everything was just resembling the picture. Highly undervalued though. It can command a higher price in the time and was much cheaper in comparison to other options in the neighbourhood, maybe because of it being new! :)

Merci pour ce séjour incroyable !! L’équipe est très gentille, et la chambre est incroyable !! Vous avez une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, c’était un réel plaisir de tirer les rideaux le matin avec cette vue. Le petit déjeuner est à la carte, et servi dans votre chambre. L’hôte propose également de vous organiser des activités ou taxi si besoin. Il y a également la location de scooter pour un bon prix.

Très bon séjour : logement propre avec clim, belle vue et bon petit-déj, personnel sympa.

Endroit propre avec clim, très bien situé et une belle vue sur la montagne, avec un bon petit-déj (gros plus pour les pâtisseries balinaises) et un personnel vraiment sympa.

Juste dommage qu’il n’y ait pas au moins une petite bouteille d’eau dans la chambre à l’arrivée.

Très beau panorama dans une chambre neuve.

La vue sur les montagne et la propreté du logement, le petit déjeuner. Location de scooter et paiement par carte très simple.

Il y a eu une coupure de courant la nuit, ce qui n’est pas très grave en temps normal mais comme nous avons un traitement médical qui doit rester au frais et être branché sur secteur cela a rendu notre première nuit très compliquée. Le bruits des animaux (coq etc) interrompt beaucoup la nuit et peut réveiller très tôt (4h/5h).

Logement neuf, très bien équipé, les hôtes sont très agréables et proposent beaucoup d'activités, location de scooter et taxi.

L'insonorisation, un peu comme partout en Indonésie, mais compte tenu du caractère neuf du logement, on pourrait s'attendre à une meilleure isolation

Une experience digne des 5 étoiles : - logement neuf, hyper propre - literie confortable avec tout le mobilier nécessaire - super emplacement pour profiter de Sidemen - une famille qui a le sens de l’accueil et très professionnel - services au top : laundry / scooter / taxis - eau chaude - petit déjeuner servi dans sa chambre délicieux et variés - une expérience immersive, on entre par l’entrée principale avant de rejoindre son logement - wifi fonctionne très bien Le fils du gérant, a travaillé plusieurs années dans des hôtels 5 étoiles et cela se ressent dans l’attention aux détails, jusqu’au produits d’hygiène 100% naturel et le set complet pour les serviettes. J’ai adoré cette immersion et je reviendrai ! MERCI !

C’est un détail personnel mais craignant un peu les chiens, quand je rentrais le soir j’appréhendais la rencontre avec ceux dans la cour mais ils sont gentils :) Le chemin est assez étroit pour rejoindre le logement donc roulez prudemment :)
