Exceeded expectations! Great family ski resort!

Beautiful, modern but cosy hotel. Very spacious, perfectly clean. Food was delicious every day. Kids buffet was very practical. Room was very spacious. Great pool and sauna area!

It's a little bit far from Zell am See (25mins by car) but the location is still beautiful amongst the mountains. The hotel's website does not do justice to the hotel!

Best dog-friendly hotel ever!

The BEST dog-friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It really felt like the dogs were treated like guests too. We particularly liked that we could take them by the pool so we didn’t have to leave them in the room whilst relaxing outside! 5* service in general, friendly staff and beautiful location. Can’t go wrong! 👏

Excellent stay at Brandlhof!

The staff are friendly and cater for your needs. The location was perfect for a trip to the mountains. Plenty of Facilities at the hotel including spa facilties. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Oversized room with balcony view was picture perfect. Good food choices and bar terrace. Great reception staff and waitress (Sebastian and ines).

Super friendly staff and amazing hotel amenities ( also for dogs)

The quality of the staff, the good amenities also which are provided not only for people but for dogs too, very dog friendly place. The Spa, the facilities in general are very well maintain and the the surroundings of the hotel give you a sense of peace. The food also was excellence in general together with the service at the restaurants, very attentive staff in general.

I would not say I did not like, but maybe for the breakfast I was expecting more or even more quality behind, don't get me wrong you do not have lack of food when having breakfast but because of the hotel maybe I thought they will have more extras in the breakfast.

Top notch - excellent mix of classic Austrian welcome and modern facilities

Great mix of classic Austrian resort and hospitality with modern facilities at the restaurant, and ample sports opportunities. Everything works like clockwork at the Brandlhof - enough parking (incl lots of EV parking), to warm welcome at reception (incl well managed health / covid measures), clean and spacious room, wonderful and extensive breakfast buffet (wow!) and quality dinner all managed with a personal touch by staff. In Austrian hospitality tradition, we were seated at the same dinner table incl a name card every evening that we booked dinner. Our highlight was a long-staying guest drinks on Wednesday evening hosted by the manager Thomas - an informative as well as fun event. Thanks team Brandlhof!

Discriminatory staff

Nice lobby

Very bad receptionist, no room service, tiny rooms and bathrooms, racist staff with double standards. We stayed for one night and left because we do not tolerate discrimination and stayed another hotel despite them taking half the original price of the whole stay we booked and not just one night.

Biggest gym I have ever seen in a hotel. Just great. Big and comfy rooms. Super breakfast.

Kids menu is or cheese or French fries. Exactly what you do not wanna give your kids. A kids menu should be a smaller portion of the adults menu, so you can all eat togehter as a family.

Had issues finding a parking spot as there was also a big conference and many people drove there. Bathroom fittings are outdated, in stark contrast with everything else.

Teuer bezahlt, aber Service und Organisation versagten vom ersten Abend bis zur Direktion.

Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Hotel gepflegt und die Lage ist grundsätzlich gut. Der Empfang bei der Anreise war freundlich und es klang zunächst so, als sei das Haus wirklich hundefreundlich. Genau deshalb ist es umso bitterer, wie schnell danach alles gekippt ist. Schon am ersten Abend im Restaurant standen wir ca. 15 Minuten am Eingang sichtbar wartend, mehrfach Blickkontakt, aber kein Guten Abend, keine Tischzuweisung, einfach ignoriert. Erst als ich aktiv jemanden ansprach, wurde überhaupt ein Tisch gesucht. Beim Essen fehlte dann die Beilage (Schupfnudeln). Ein Kellner konnte nicht einmal nachvollziehen, was fehlt, zeigte erst auf Wirsing, dann auf Soße. Nach mehrmaligem Erklären kamen Schupfnudeln separat, offensichtlich nur aufgewärmt und zäh. Danach an der Bar wieder kein Hallo, keine Karte, keine aktive Bedienung, Gäste nach uns wurden vor uns bedient. Wir bestellten Bier und Cola und warteten ca. 25 Minuten ohne Getränke. Als wir wegen unseres Welpen in eine ruhigere Ecke wechseln wollten, wurde plötzlich hektisch „schnell abkassiert“ und innerhalb von Sekunden standen Getränke und Rechnung da. Positiv ist höchstens, dass im Nachgang von der Direktion eine Erstattung für objektiv falsche bzw. nicht nutzbare Positionen angeboten wurde, aber während des Aufenthalts fühlte sich niemand verantwortlich.

Abrechnung und Verantwortungsgefühl waren aus unserer Sicht ein Totalausfall. Später am Abend wollten wir weitere Getränke zahlen, aber niemand war erreichbar, wir mussten selbst zur Bar. Dort wurde uns zuerst eine Rechnung mit Getränken anderer Gäste vorgelegt, sinngemäß „ungefähr gleicher Betrag, passt schon“. Dass von Gästen erwartet wird, fremde Getränke zu bezahlen, ist absolut inakzeptabel. Erst als wir darauf bestanden haben, wurde korrigiert. Zu Hause fiel zusätzlich auf, dass eine Cola doppelt berechnet wurde. Wir haben die Vorfälle am 30.12. vor Ort beim Management gemeldet. Aussage: man kümmere sich und mache es wieder gut. Ergebnis: keine Rückmeldung, keine sichtbare Lösung, keine Verbesserung, obwohl wir bis 04.01. noch im Haus waren. Silvester war dann das i-Tüpfelchen: Bei der Anreise haben wir ausdrücklich gefragt, ob unser Hund zum Abendessen mit darf (Welpe kann nicht alleine bleiben). Antwort: Hund darf zum Abendessen mit, nur nicht zur späteren Gala. Am 31.12. wurden wir dann am Dinner abgewiesen und mussten Silvester spontan extern organisieren. Hilfe wie Hundesitter für ein paar Stunden gab es nicht, dadurch konnten wir den Spa Bereich kein einziges Mal nutzen. Wir haben kein einziges Frühstück im Hotel gegessen und abgesehen vom ersten Abend auch kein weiteres Abendessen mehr. Zusätzlich blieb der Seifenspender im Zimmer die ganze Woche leer. Nach dem Aufenthalt kontaktierte ich die Direktion direkt: zuerst kam nur „wir prüfen“, dann mussten wir erneut lange auf eine konkrete Antwort warten. In der Rückmeldung wurde vieles als „Missverständnis“ eingeordnet, statt die Punkte klar aufzuarbeiten. Unser Eindruck: Service, Kommunikation und Verantwortungsübernahme haben vom Personal bis zur Leitung nicht funktioniert.
