Goed geslapen, prima kamer + voorzieningen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor een (OV) bezoek aan Salzburg.

De kamer en de voorzieningen op de kamer

Dat je d.m.v. een hanger aan de deurknop kunt aangegeven dat schoonmaak deze keer niet nodig is, is prima groene gedachte. De keer dat je dat kaartje niet ophangt dan verwacht je dat er schoongemaakt wordt. Dat was dan weer niet het geval. Beetje jammer.

Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren mit unserem Hund dort und haben ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss bekommen. Das ist immer hilfreich. Es gibt einen Garten von dem aus man direkt in eine ruhige Siedlung laufen kann.

Das Zimmer war schon recht klein, vor allem, wenn man noch einen großen Hund dabei hat.

Schönes Hotel im angesagten Maxglan mit Bushalte vor der Tür

außergewöhnliche Ausstattung, anders als im Standard-Hotel. Nette kleine Features wie ein drehbarer Spiegel und eine gute Kaffeemaschine erfreuen den Gast :-)

Bellissima struttura, piena di opere d’arte e di design. Camera carina, bagno ottimo, colazione ottima, ma nulla di eccezionale. La struttura è ben collegata con i mezzi.

La posizione è un po’ fuori mano, diventa difficile se si cena tardi perché nei paraggi ci sono pochi posti in cui mangiare. Ma è comunque ben collegato.

Tiszta, modern, légkondis szoba saját kávéfőzővel, a buszmegállótól néhány méterre. A reggeli finom volt, a személyzet pedig nagyon kedves. A csomagokat érkezéskor és távozáskor is ott tudtuk hagyni megőrzésre.

Kicsit szűkös volt a fürdő és a zuhany, de nem volt annyira zavaró.

Pretty decent place to stay if you don’t need to be right in the city centre

It was clean and quiet, and our room was spacious. The hotel has an art gallery inside and a big patio. You can walk to the city centre (30 min.) or take a bus (15 min.). By paying local tourism tax, you get a free pass for the bus during your stay. Staff is really charming and willing to help. There is a supermarket (Billa) close to the hotel.

Breakfast is not included and is too pricy (19 €/10 €, adults/children). You can find a cafe across the street, but it is also expensive.

Schwarzer Schimmel in der Dusche. Defekte Tür….

Lage

Neben der österreichischen Bürokratie beim Einchecken mussten wir schnell feststellen, dass diese Hotelzitrone schon komplett ausgepresst ist und lange keine Wartung mehr erhalten hat. Die Zimmertür und die Lüftung (Zi 17) war defekt und in der Dusche ist schwarzer Schimmel (Zi 15)….insgesamt viel zu teuer!

Expectations Exceeded

First the Staff greeted me warmly, knowledgable and friendly which continued through the stay. The hotel is charming, artistic and entertaining. The room was comfortable. There is a wonderful restuarant across the street serving local delights. Also a bakery serving up delicious pretzels. I will stay here whenever in town.

Die Straße war sehr laut zu hören und auch die anderen Wände sehr dünn. Es war daher nicht besoders ruhig und das Einschlafen fiehl uns bei den Geräuschen schwer.

Schönes Zimmer - viel interessante Kunst und alles auf gutem Level!

Die Lage ist schlecht. Das Hotel liegt direkt unter der Einflugschneise, ab 6 Uhr wird geweckt. Das Zimmer war zwar nach hinten, aber es gibt einen Durchbruch zwischen den beiden Gebäuden dadurch kommt der starke Straßenlärm auch nach hinten. Nichtraucher Hotel ja, aber unter meinem Fenster wurde geraucht. Fenster aufmachen ging eh nicht, wegen dem Strassenlärm; ok, erst ab 6:30 Uhr, aber...

Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, es ist schön ruhig und man ist mit dem Bus sofort im Stadtzentrum. Das Bett war äußerst bequem und es gab sogar die Möglichkeit, sich im Zimmer bereits vor dem Frühstück einen Kaffee zu machen. Am Hotel gibt es sogar einen Parkplatz, der genutzt werden kann.

Meine Tochter ist Veganerin und ich hatte extra vorher gefragt, ob es für sie auch eine Auswahl geben wird. Die Auswahl war allerdings sehr überschaubar.

Avoid ground floor rooms

Staff were very nice and helpful. It was clean. Location was pretty good. a bit far from center but well connected. 15 minutes by bus to the center. the neighborhood feels safe.

I reserved a single room and paid around 100 euros per night. I wasn't expecting luxury but the room was the size of a closet. furthermore it was on the ground floor and close to the road. whenever a truck drove by I could feel the bed vibrating. But the worst part was a beeping sound from the hall which started every 40 minutes or so and lasted over a minute. I didn't sleep at all. I told this to the guy at the reception. apparently they were aware of it and were trying to fix it without success. He moved me to a room on the 3rd floor which was fine. still small for the price but that's Salzburg. The first room was a shame and I would have written a much worse review if I had stayed there 3 nights. don't stay on the ground floor that's my advice.

Great Hotel, welcoming and helpful staff

Great hotel with amazing artwork throughout. Loved the Marilyn Monroe bathroom door in the room. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. 2.5km walk from the Old Town that we enjoyed on a daily basis. There are also bus stops right outside the front door. We would definitely stay there again when we come back to Salzburg.
