Very very hot room during summer, without fan. The property stated that they have an aircon. However it was not working properly. It blew very weak air, and it’s not even cold. I run it for hours but the room feels like a hot steam. Tried calling the receptionist to get it checked or move me to another room, but they said “nothing we can do” in a very dismissive manner. They also mentioned there is “no room left tonight, fully booked” but when I checked online there was still available room to be booked. Clearly they just don’t want to help. I don’t think it’s the receptionist fault, more like the management fault cos there has been other similar reviews but clearly no action was taken.

I emailed the hotel several days in advance to request a room with proper air conditioning, but when I arrived, I was initially given a room with warm air instead of cooling. When I raised the issue at reception, the staff member I spoke with was not very helpful and insisted that nothing could be done. I then asked to speak with the manager, who was very professional and apologetic. The manager immediately assisted me and arranged a much better room with proper cooling, which resolved the issue. Be aware of that woman
