This was by far the worst 5-star hotel experience I have ever had. I have stayed in many 3-star hotels that were far better than this. The hotel is very old and clearly not renovated for years. The walls are full of stains and mold, and the smell when you enter the hotel is terrible. It immediately gives a bad first impression. They charge €40 for valet parking, yet there is no proper parking lot, which is unacceptable for a so-called 5-star hotel. We arrived at 19:00, and there was only one receptionist working alone, with no other staff available. We were given a room, but when we entered, it smelled like a sewer. We opened all the windows, but after one hour, the smell was still unbearable. The room was dirty, the floor was black, and we felt uncomfortable touching anything. This is absolutely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. To make things worse, the walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and even from the room above. There is no sound insulation at all, making it impossible to relax or sleep properly. We went back to reception and said we could not stay in that room. The receptionist told us it was a problem to change rooms because housekeeping had already left, and there was no one available to prepare another room — even though we were traveling with an 8-year-old child. Luckily, the only positive part of this experience was a staff member named Gamil. He was extremely kind, professional, and helpful. He told us, “Don’t worry, it’s not my job, but I will take care of you.” He personally came with us to another room, noticed that the sofa bed was broken, and went out of his way to bring and set up another bed himself. Without Gamal, we would have left the hotel and booked somewhere else. The second room was slightly better, but still dirty and poorly maintained. There was no complimentary water, and they charge for bottled water, which is shocking for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. Breakfast was terrible — very limited selection, almost no vegetables, barely any eggs, and overall very poor quality. I truly expected much more from a Radisson Blu 5-star hotel, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. This place is a disgrace to the 5-star rating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I chose this hotel mainly because of the Radisson brand reputation, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The WiFi connection was very unstable and unreliable, which caused inconvenience during my stay. When I reported the issue to the reception, instead of offering a solution, I was told to contact the hotel director myself. This response felt unprofessional and not what I expected from an international hotel chain. The hotel has potential, but service quality and staff handling of guest complaints need serious improvement. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.
