Blasers Hotel Restaurant Chocolat

This hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Frutigen train station and within walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and Migros and Coop supermarkets. Our spotless room was small but sufficient. The bed was comfortable with fluffy pillows and luxurious comforters. There was a small table with a water carafe and glasses, along with the some complimentary chocolates! The best feature was the balcony with chairs and a chair swing with a gorgeous view of the mountains!

The restaurant has a nice menu but was too expensive. We had a delicious pizza dinner at the nearby Falken Restaurant and breakfast at a bakery. The reception staff was not readily available and was not particularly friendly. Be aware the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and there is no reception staff on that day. Also be aware that this charming hotel is older; the floor and balcony above our room were creaky.

Convenient location 5 mins from railway station. Small family run establishment, very friendly and helpful. Stunning views from rooms with balcony. Quiet location.

The hotel is easy to find, they have a restaurant and bakery inside the hotel, which is nice during Easter holiday when everything else was closed.

The price is a bit too high for the facilities offered. Many things seems old.
