I love this hotel and I will stay there again. They have everything you need in the room. Good breakfast. The location is amazing. I had a room with an ocean view and it was incredible - I saw ocean waves from my window. They have very good rooftop bar (it is small, but ok) The personnel is also very good

They can make coffee as a self service on breakfast, because sometimes you have to wait for a waitress for a long time.

Decent stay but underwhelming for the price

The connecting rooms were very convenient.

The check-in process was particularly frustrating as we gave 2 months notice with a request to check-in just 2 hours early after a long flight. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate us - despite other parties checking in continuously for several hours ahead of us while we waited, with kids. Other parties also received a welcome drink, and we were not privy. Finally, the swimming pool is tiny - too small even for my 9 year old to enjoy.

Great hotel - staff - location

Overall - highly recommended hotel - well maintained, clean, professional and helpful staff, great location. *Breakfast -as we stayed 8 days and the breakfast choices were always the same - we got bored with it - but overall good quality, get up early to get the best tables next to the windows overlooking the beach - great for people watching :) *Location is great too - close by supermarket, pharmacy, and you can walk from there to shopping streets, Ipanema beach, not too busy ( but the smell outside of the hotel was a bit funky :( *Room - spacious, clean, comfortable bed, we were staying in a 3-person room - so we had no view of the beach ( well - partial with odd head tilt), rather the view was of the building and private lives of people living in it - not what I was hoping to have a view of. Rooms facing the beach must have magical views in the morning. On arrival, you are welcomed by a small plate of sweets :) also you get free water bottles - nice. Espresso machine available - but you pay for the use of it. *Housecleaning was the best we ever had! Have to mention - Water pressure in that shower was amazing!!! (wanted to take that shower head home :) * Rooftop is nice too but too quite for us

If I have to add - Breakfast - add more variety, serve tea in teapots. Rooftop - add more life to it

Nice hotel, location and rooftop pool; ridiculous policy on guests

Great pool and rooftop terrace

I was told that I could not have guests in my room as it was the policy for safety reasons. However, I could pay BRL 200 and it would be Ok for me to have a guest. Clearly not really about safety then! I found this very frustrating as a guest of mine was turned away.

Friendly staff, clean room, great location but not really a 5-star experience

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is in the sweet spot between Copacabana and Ipanema. The view from our room was amazing. We could see the beach and the Sugarloaf Mountain from our window.

The room we booked was a partial ocean view on the 8th floor, and it was extremely noisy. We could hear the doors slamming and people talking in the hallway loudly and too early in the morning. We couldn't have a restful sleep because of it for the 5 nights we were there. The room and the bathroom were too small for a 5-star hotel, in my opinion. The rooftop pool area is also too small and not so exciting, which was a bummer. We ended up going to another 5-star hotel rooftop to enjoy the view, bar food, and drink options. The breakfast is good and the location is beautiful with big windows to the ocean, but I honestly had a better breakfast in another hotel in Pernambuco. We did not like the all-day tour that the hotel offered. The tour was disorganized, the tour leader did not give any interesting information about any sights, and basically left us alone to explore things and get back to the meeting spot. He had to speak in 3 languages for every sight we were driving by, and so he gave a little information about everything in a rushed way, speaking too fast with broken English. Also, the Brazilian BBQ spot that the tour took us to was not good and actually made us sick the next day! I'd definitely recommend researching and booking a tour online yourself.

Great location, incredible service, extremely safe

The hotel staff truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I’ve never experienced service to this level in my life. We were incredibly impressed! The location was fantastic, but on top of everything, it was one of the few places in Rio where we felt safe. If you’re visiting Rio, we can’t recommend this place enough. It’s worth every cent!

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Room were a good size and very clean. We paid extra for a sea view which was well worth it to watch the sunrise over Copacabana beach.

Fabulous Stay at Miramar by Windsor Copacabana Beach

The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Lots of variety with the option of eggs cooked to order. The location was fantastic! Beachfront hotel on Copacabana Beach. I booked a room with an ocean view and it was totally worth it. I saw the sun rise behind Sugarloaf Mountain in the mornings. The rooftop pool and bar were a nice additon to the hotel and great to have drink and food service while admiring the fabulous view. I ate twice at night at the Italian restaurant. It has a very high rating locally and my opinion deserves the rating. Room was confortable with very nice bedding.

Hotel helps with transportation, taxis near the hotel but, I felt I was overcharged for a very short ride. An Uber was 1/3 of cost in n comparison with that taxi
