The location is perfect! Leblon feels safe and it's walkable to restaurants, coffeeplaces and the beach of course.
I think the hotel is too expensive for what it is. The fitness is next to the kids playroom, which means it can get loud and very active. I didn't appreciate that. The pool area isn't really inviting.
And I think the balconies could do with an upgrade of cozy furniture, the table and chair they have now feels dirty and is uncomfortable.

As it is the case with many old hotels in Rio, the prices are absolutely unjustifiable. This is an ok hotel with simple rooms. Location however, is excellent and the staff is professional even though not proactive.
Price vs offer. Simple rooms, towels and sheets of a 3 star hotel.
