The breakfast was very good, available and lots of options to choose from. The hotel location was fantastic too and easy to move around the city. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Will recommend

A Nightmare on Elm Street

The receptionist that was there when I arrived was very friendly and helpful, but that's the only good thing I can say from my stay. At this hotel, I had one of the worst experiences of my life so far.

Too much noise from the street, do not attempt to go there if you intend to sleep at night. Not only is Lapa a bustling busy neighbourhood in Rio, but the location of this hotel is also at the centre of a lot of dodgy stuff. It was only chosen because I was supposed to sleep there for 1 night before my flight from St Dumond's airport, which is very close to the hotel; but guess what: I couldn't close my eyes for a minute as the street was full of people screaming (in a very creepy/scary way) the whole night. Later I learned from the uber driver that the surroundings of the hotel are also a point for prostitution (the reason why the frightful screams). A freakshow and a traumatic experience I recommend avoiding if you can stretch your budget a little more.

Nice hotel but WiFi was a bit unstable

Room was very big and good value. The bed was a good size and the reception guy was very polite and knew how to communicate.

WiFi was a bit unstable, it kept disconnecting which was a problem which led me to leaving the hotel. If the Internet is important to you then it might be best to choose another hotel.

Staff could not de enough for me despite struggling with language problems. My suitcase did not arrive from the airport so had a bad week without it and they were really kind . Thanks Guillem and Rodrigo! Wonderful self service breakfast. Fresh fruit, eggs, sausage and cold meats and cheeses. Toaster and sandwich maker . Large, clean room, big beds and good standard bathroom with plenty of hot water. Large fridge. Air conditioning Central location. All in all exceptional value for money

No blinds or curtains!! (That's a first!) Hard bed and small top sheet. No coat hangers so I bought some and left them. Nothing to stop mosquitoes entering the room as big gaps around the A/C. (I did not see mosquitoes but was bitten perhaps outside)

The staff were all great and so helpful The Breakfast was good..except of the coffee was really lacking coffee lol..the rest was good . The shower was so good with strong pressured hot water. The location is just awesome.

*The room 203 was really small..could barely take a step in to get to the bathroom. * The TV is useless 😒 *1st night.. The A/C was horrible..kept switching off every 5-7 minutes and there was a switch button that I had to wake up to switch it on again and that happened all night and i couldn't sleep as it was really hot. * 2ns night.. i woke up with the feeling that there is something walking on my head..to my surprise when I opened my eyes that the pillow and lots of ants 🐜 😳 like a horror movie attacking me .. I immediately woke.. took a shower and cleaned the bed and here was my second sleepless night.

Recomendable en LAPA.

Cercano a catedral, escalera selaron, arcos de Lapa, teatro municipal, etc. Muy buen desayuno y personal bien predispuestos. Tiene aire, refrigerador, buena ducha y camas para un par de días

La zona al principio parece no tan agradable pero de día y tarde es muy segura. Es el centro de Rio

Bom para passar uma noite.

Uma boa alternativa para quem procura um quarto privativo pra passar a noite e com bom custo benefício. Além disso, o quarto que fiquei era amplo e tinha um bom chuveiro. Também é servido um bom café da manhã.

O hotel é extremamente simples. E o atendimento pode melhorar. Quando cheguei perguntei se tinha algum bebedouro para tomar água, o recepcionista informou que não, mas ao dar entrada na hospedagem, descobri que tinha sim, um filtro na área pública, na escada de acesso ao segundo andar. Outra coisa que me incomodou foi o ar-condicionado, que mais parecia um trator de tão barulhento. Ruim demais ter que escolher entre dormir com barulho ou dormir com o calor do Rio.
