It was a very unique property with lots of authentic charm and amazing views. Rooms had everything needed and were clean. Christina the owner was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The kitchen and balcony were great to chill on and be able to prepare simple food and drinks.
It wasn’t a problem for us, but for people with mobility issues then it’s not ideal as it’s on many levels.

Christina who runs Santo Mirante Hostel is an amazing host. She provides you with a lot of amazing recommendations about activities and beautiful sights in Río and supports you very well during your stay. The private rooms include a bed- and a bathroom. Everything was very clean, neat and very cozy. The hostel also has a rooftop terrace with a kitchen space that includes a microwave, kettle and a sandwich maker and enables you to prepare small snacks. The view is stunning and you can enjoy it also from a hammock. The location in Santa Teresa is very safe and perfect to explore the lovely district as well as Gloria market, Escadaria Selaron and a lot of blocos during carnival. We had a wonderful time here and can highly recommend staying here.

Christina er en fantastisk og snill vert, med gode tips i området.

We had a terrible journey and she stayed up to let us in, was more than helpful throughout our stay and helped us fall in love with Rio. You don’t meet such lovely hosts very often. We definitely recommend to stay here!
