Excellent value for money!

Really friendly, welcoming staff! The room was comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring Santa Teresa and Lapa. It was easy to get Ubers to/from the guesthouse or walk around the nearby area. The included breakfast was really great with plenty of choice.

The road outside could be a little noisy when buses went past on the cobblestones.

Good staff but not recomend it

The staff were nice and the location is very close by of same historical and tourist points.

The rooms had the linen dirty with stains and also with litlle blood marks. The breakfast area was really to litlle with two small tables, very few itens and acess to a dirty kitchen. Small doens't mean that you cannot have a good organization and cleanning. Althought you have very points to see in the area,the surounding area it's not safe because you are really on the middle off a poor zone. It is not a cleanned area and you have to be very carefull because it is not safe.

Nosiy location, no sound isolation which resulted in a high noise level through the whole night. Hard beds. A/C didnt work properly and WiFi was not available at all.

Good choice for easy access to Santa Teresa and Lapa

Excellent location in a quite neighborhood; 5 min walking to plenty of bars and restaurants; room and shower were rather big; very clean and organized; I arrived when nobody was at the property, the information provided beforehand was perfectly sufficient to access the property and my room; I'd stay there again

Breakfast was ok and they are going to add more options soon; if the light next to the mirror could have been centered

Friendly staff, sketchy location and dodgy loo

Breakfast decent. Good price. Close to some famous sites like the aqueduct and selaron staircase. Good staff, very friendly!! Can't fault effort put in and very welcoming however cannot exclude shortcomings which did exist.

First day out the guesthouse a woman asked me to accompany her down the hill as it was dangerous for her and she was a local! And there were very dodgy characters there whom I escorted her past. Subsequently I used Uber from the guesthouse direct. The loo was really weak and had to try to clean using toilet brush - towels only replaced after 3 days but I asked after one day as no air gets in room and windows don't stay open at all as hinges are worn out. Main concern is on final day there was a dirty bottle of some liquid left in my private bathroom by someone which was clearly years old it seemed (pic attached)

Great spot

Location is great for people who don't want the ordinary crowd of tourists on the beaches. Santa Teresa is beatiful, with great architecture and food. The mini hotel is just in the middle, and it's perfect for a solo or a family. The owner is a character, super smart and knowlagable about Brazil and the area. The staff are great, breakfast is great and I'll probably go back here

Lovely hostel in Santa Teresa

Paul was a great host, really nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. The hostel was conveniently located, really closed by major touristic places.

Great location

Great location close to the liveliness of Lapa and the tiny pool in the sun. I could checkout at 1700 before going to the airport.

The rooms are in the bottom of the building and without much daylight. Wifi was really poor.

Rio de janeiro eu amo

Eu gostei do atendimento da moça que me recebeu. Ela foi excelente. Pro ativa d+++. Teve a bondade de desviar o caminho para me mostrar onde poderia ir comer alguma coisa. Achei fantástico. Se preocupou comigo. Foi calma e muito gentil. Uma pessoa diferenciada. Gostei também das moças do café. Super simpáticas. Educadas. Otimistas. Positivas. Muito especiais.

Eu não gostei do som. Zoada terrível na noite de domingo que se prolongou até quase 02h00min, de segunda, não dormi. Foi terrível. Não parecia que estávamos em uma hospedagem pagando. Parecia que era uma hospedagem particular. A piscina fica próxima das suítes. Pessoas gritando. Sorrindo alto. Uma falta de educação e respeito ao hóspede. Inclusive, mais de 02h00min, um menino ficou gritando como um louco. Eu ia levantar às 04h20min para não perder o vôo. Fiquei mal. Foi horrível esta parte. Deveriam rever. Porque existe a lei do silêncio e a moça que me recebeu, falou sobre o horário até 21h00min. Eu fiquei decepcionada. O café da manhã também achei fraco.

Nettes Personal, gratis Trinkwasser, großes komfortables Bett, Zimmer perfekt abdunkelbar, insgesamt sehr ruhig (Zimmer 5 und 6 sind vom angeblichen Lärm der Straße und vor der morgendlichen Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt), gemeinsame Außenküche am Pool, die Lage (5-10 min zu Fuss zur Selaron Treppe / Arcos / Zentrum Sta Teresa)

Der Weg von Lapa bzw. der Metrostation ist etwas anstrengend, viele Mosquitos

Очень доброжелательный персонал, хороший завтрак. В общем неплохое местоположение.

- очень маленькая комната, никакой мебели кроме кровати. - у меня была комната возле общей зоны с бассейном и кухней и из-за неплотно закрывающегося окна я как будто жила в этой зоне, а там то устраивали посиделки в любое время дня и ночи (меня разбудили в 3 часа ночи), то смотрели видео с телефона на полной громкости. Да и в общем шумное место, транспорт едет очень громко по брусчатке и окна дребежат. - хуже шумящего и вибрирующего блока кондиционера над незакорывающемся окном, только когда это кондиционер соседа, на который повлиять никак нельзя.

Maravilhoso, super recomendo.

A estadia foi maravilhosa. O bairro e a rua transmitem uma paz inigualável. A estrutura do residencial é muito acolhedora e confortável, as funcionárias são perfeitas fazem de tudo pra deixar a estadia uma experiência completa. E, claro, o Jaison é uma pessoa maravilhosa, super acolhedor e receptivo. Lugar perfeito, voltaremos!

Bom custo x benefício

Da equipe de atendimento, especialmente a Emily, a Priscila e o Jaison, muito prestativas e simpaticas. Estavam sempre a postos para dar o melhor suporte e atendimento, além das ótimas dicas sobre a cidade. A localização também é um diferencial, são menos de 10 minutos de caminhada aos arcos da lapa e escadaria selaron, porém é necessário passar por um trecho com usuários de drogas (mas foi tranquilo). O melhor é que a hospedagem é pet friendly

O café da manhã é bem simples, mas condizente com preço da hospedagem. O estacionamento não está incluido no preço da diária, mas é compreensível, pois são apenas 2 vagas (e pequenas).
