We enjoyed a 4 night stay in a superior double room. We found the staff welcoming in arrival and enjoyed wonderful fresh

Solid choice near Ipanema Beach

Prime location super close to the beach and tons of great restaurants in a super safe area (walk everywhere!), staff were super nice and welcoming, breakfast was excellent with loads of options and tasty food combinations, and the room was good overall—clean and functional (just not huge, which is fine for a beach spot).

The main con was the towels—they got super smelly after just one use. We usually skip daily room service on vacations, but this time we wanted it because the towels were terrible and needed replacing.

Warm people, great location and food

Perfect location at the best place of Rio, not very touristic area. Very close to Ipanema beach . People at reception and restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. They offer beach chairs and towels. Free Bicycles are available for 2 hours, the flat region allows cycling around the Lake, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freiras, and shore. They provide umbrellas and rain coats for the strong tropical rains, very useful. Breakfast was great, they selected typical food from all the country, we could try daily different tastes from different regions of Brazil. Vegan and Vegetarian options.

Great cosy place near the beach!!

The location is wonderful, just 50 meters from the beach. :) the place is great and there is an amazing Bistrô downstairs. :) The personnel are super nice and friendly and speak English(which is a rare thing in Rio!) :))

The room is super tiny and narrow, if you bring a large suitcase there isn’t enough space to open it, you need to jump over. :) The area was extremely noisy - there were constructions running all around the neighboring buildings from all sides, cannot open the window from the noise, literally cannot make a zoom call inside during the day. Probably the construction period is temporary, but we hit it. :(

Greta value for your money in the middle of ipanema

Excellent location really near the beach, you can also use some beach chairs and umbrellas without any additional fees at a barraca.

The rooms aren’t that soundproofed so if you have a light sleep you could use some sleep plugs.

3 night on Ipanema beach

Great location, friendly staff and 4 bikes we can use free of charge. Room and bathroom were on the small side but the bed was big and comfortable. Windows sound proof so no noise from outside.

Breakfast was included but it is a-la-cart and it is a bit of a hit and miss (you can choose a pre-defined combo or 2 dishes from the given menu). But the percolated coffee was unlimited and that was great.

Can't recommend due to room standards

Staff is very professional, polite and helpful. Breakfasts are really tasty and plenty of options. Restaurant in the lobby is worth recommending as well.

An Excellent Design Hotel that captures the Chilled Vibe of Rio

Location is excellent, walking distance to Ipanema Beach and shopping areas. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The room is well designed and shower is hot and strong (vey important for me). Best of all the chilled vibe perfectly captured the Rio experience. Shared amenities with its sister hotel Arporador is a big plus.

The bathroom could be a bit more efficiently laid out, with more places to hang towels. The bedside light could be a bit brighter, for reading and woking in the room. The construction next door could be noisy in the morning (but presumably that's temporary!)

The hotel has a very good position in Ipanema, the beach as well as restaurants and supermarkets are not far away and can be reached by feet. The rooms are clean and comfortable. What we liked most was everyone working at the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we had a really great stay.

It’s a modern, beautiful and very comfortable place. The staff is great - very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is high quality in a beautiful restaurant. The location is very nice - very close to the beach, in the safe area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Very close to the subway station too.

Perfect modern boutique style hotel with lovely restaurant on ground floor.

Great location, modern facilities and rooms. Breakfast also really good and staff really helpful and friendly.

Our rooms were quite small and we had no view but we were out and about so wasn’t an issue for us. If it is ask for a higher floor. Location on Ipanema beach is fantastic.

Good Hotel, a few details need to improve

Property is well maintained and clean. Staff is super cordial and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant is really great and cozy.

Single beds are super hard and uncomfortable. Towels are also worn out, new ones are very much needed

It was a treat to be able to come back to the hotel throughout the day.

Stylish, cute interior, fresh restaurant. Rooms simple and comfortable. How close it was too the beach! The staff were lovely. And the food was great! Live jazz on Friday evening was a treat too.

Loved my stay here, from the very friendly staff, amazing breakfast ( food was so good) and I really liked the room that also had a little side view of the beach. Such a great location! Totally one of my favorite stays in Rio!

During the weekend was absolutely perfect, there are some buildings in construction nearby so a little noise during the week but absolutely not the hotel fault.

Perfect location, lovely staff and good value for the price.

We stayed for 7 days for work meetings and had breakfast and occasionally dinner in the hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful and we really enjoyed the stay. They were able to help us with everything we needed. The location is excellent, super close to the beach and street with nice shops and cafes.

Some days the breakfast was not so good - too much salt, overcooked or without the usual attention to detail. I think it depends on the chef that works on a given day. Not a big issue as most of the days it was great.

The location is great. Included breakfast was very good too. The staff is friendly and kind, the cleaning ladies too. They borrow biclicles to the guests. Internet connection works ok. I really enjoyed my staying in Ipanema Inn once again.

- staff, very friendly and helpful - this is the big plus of this hotel, staff helped us a lot by organizing our trip, giving good advices, printing our tour tickets, organizing snack and drink to meet and share feedback on the hotel, giving those small attentions that make the difference! - location in the heart of Ipanema, 1min from the beach - complementary bikes for 2h - clean hotel and room - breakfast (a la carte) - the little sweet left on our bed by the end of the day :)

Not big issues, only minor: - water getting supet warm suddenly - wifi connexion in the room - small room (if you have 2 big suitcases! Else it is OK)

Great hotel in fancy area

We stayed twice in Ipanema Inn and enjoyed our stay. the hotel has an excellent location in Ipanema with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. the breakfast served is delicious and something you would expect from a fancy brunch cafe rather than a hotel. staff is very helpful and friendly.

Our rooms were quite small and a bit outdated but beds are very comfy. When leaving to go to the airport, it took forever to order a cab and we then had to get one on the street, which was a complete rip-off (drove in the wrong direction, on purpose into a traffic jam, then forced us to pay 4x the rate which we had to accept since we were in a hurry). I think it would be good for the hotel to warn people not to take taxis on the street or organise a transport. obviously not the hotel’s fault but good to inform tourists about this.

Location of the hotel was perfect, just one block from the beach. Breakfast was splendid, with late availability for almost 2pm and delicious food. Special thanks to the Staff, super pro-active!
