A lovely lodge but bring eye masks for sleeping as the lodge is very bright.

A very nice and modern lodge in a lovely peaceful location. We bought eggs from the honest box at the top of the road. The bed was very comfortable.

The blinds on the doors don’t block any light so we didn’t get much sleep. Having to move the couch to access the oven.

Internet dropped off in the evening, although it wasn’t too much of a problem for us, but maybe some people would find it a problem.

Lovely unit, quite spacious. The view was amazing, the area was quiet and relaxing. The bed comfortable. Lovely functional kitchen, with oven, stove top, Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, and required pots and pans etc. The bathroom and shower was nice. We saw rabbits, birds and bats Would recommend

Small cabin in a quiet and beautiful location.

We loved every minute of our stay. The instructions from Gayle and Alasdair came handy in locating the accommodation. The area was so quiet and the views stunning. The window above the bed looks right onto Macleod's Tables. We were visited by wildlife (birds, rabbits and a deer) and found an oyster catcher nest with eggs in it while walking at the beach. The accommodation was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. The grounds are nicely kept, too. The bed was comfy and the shower great. The wifi and mobile internet weren't as bad as we anticipated. We got decent a connection for streaming videos and movies on our phones at night. The cabin is very sheltered from strong winds. We could sit on the deck without getting a chill from the wind. I deeply recommend staying at Stravaig Skye.

The only reason we didn’t give this accommodation a 10/10 was because of the internet, primarily the TV not working most times because of this. It was also very bright in the house at night and early in the morning, blackout curtains would be great.

Loved the location the view was amazing,very compact,small but well utilised.bed was so comfy and the hosts were lovely,alastair came down to see if we were OK after our blow out with the car tyre. Our trip was spoilt with my trip to hospital, but even there everyone was so caring and helpful,but we are hoping to book again at a later date and carry on with the places and sites we missed. If you like rural then this place is for you, I recommend that you prepare well for the trip and don't get caught short without breakdown cover and any equipment needed.we did and it cost us quite a lot to get repairs.,but we haven't been put off and the place was gorgeous.

WiFi was very hit and miss, so we couldn't watch any tv,I suggest a portable dvd player if you want to watch anything, although we weren't so bothered. Beware of potholes on surrounding roads, they are a nightmare and a lot of them, we had a blow out.
