Absolutely loved this. Great environment and set up. The huts were cosy, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for cooking. Would deffo come and stay again.
If I have to put something here; the automatic light outside the kitchen shack kept blinding me when it came on, and the gravel was really noisy when trying to walk quietly.

We felt like we were in a little fairytale home. The drive back to the site was really nice and the location was beautiful. The coziness and uniqueness of this site will definitely bring us back

Comfy bed and nice wood burner , facilities were as described
Falsely sold cabin as having a sea view. There were no views from the cabin it was overgrown by poorly managed thickets. Felt gloomy and depressing

Great ecological project in nature, lovely location with shelter from young trees. Hot shower from renewable energy.
Good parking
Good to support this Eco sensitive project but expensive for basic facilities.
Lack of wifi for those who have to work.
Dry toilets are environmentally sound but a bit 'whiffy'

The campsite was beautiful and super serene. The perfect place to just chill and relax. The lodges were nice and provided everything that you might need. It was a nice place for an offgrid vacation.🤗
I feel like the bed wasn't super comfortable, the matras was too thin for my liking and you could feel the springs. Also the men's urinoir was not connected to the river, the urine was collected around it and it attracted a lot of flies who liked to dance around your weewee. 😅

The facilities and cleanliness at Skye Eco Bells were exceptional. The hosts had thought of absolutely everything that guests could need and provided it. Their commitment to sustainable living at the site was really excellent and there was no compromise in terms of comfort or practicality. The location was perfect to be away from everything apart from nature and an ideal base for walking and also exploring further afield around the island.
I can't think of any improvements to be made.

Skye Eco Bells is fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed switching off and connecting with the beautiful environment and surroundings of Skye.
Scott and Nadia have created a little slice of heaven.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! We were blown away by how beautiful it is here, and how clean it is. The greenhouse shower is phenomenal, I wasn't expecting hot water for a shower so was very pleasantly surprised! The sleeping cabins were so cosy and the tiny woodburning stoves really keeps it warm. The cooking facilities were great, as were the washing up spaces, and the kitchens had a gas stove and a gas oven (though we weren't sure how to use the oven so decided not to try) all the pots and pans and utensils you need, as well as a teapot and a french press for coffee which was great! A really wonderful place to stay, and we hope to go back!
Nothing, everything was wonderfully charming, comfortable and spotlessly clean :)

Such an experience. Lovely cabin & relaxing location. The greenhouse shower was fantastic. There is a little beach nearby which the dogs loved.
Nothing. We arrived as it was getting dark. i definitely would advise getting there when light as it is very dark (we were told by the owners to arrive when it was light so that was our fault!)

We loved our stay at skye eco bells - gorgeous cabins and set up, the most amazing shower ever, and so many small touches that Nadia and Scott have thought of to make this a comfortable, welcoming and unique stay for their guests and a sustainable and wonderful set up. The location is great - close enough to amenities and well placed to be able to explore skye but far enough away to feel like you can escape and get off grid. We would definitely recommend.

The green house shower was a wonderful experience. The catering shack was really user friendly: lots of pots and pans / crockery etc and the wood burning stove was ideal on a damp night .
An amazing stay !

Such attention to detail made sure we didn't go without unnecessarily. Every possible need had been thought of, and an environmentally friendly solution provided. The hosts were very helpful and responsive and really go the extra mile. The greenhouse shower was spectacular and once a fire was going the cabin very cosy. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the Island and provide a book packed with reccomendations and local knowledge. They also helped me with a personal touch to make our very special trip more memorable.
I personally didn't check the location and we found ourselves quite far away from some of the more breathtaking scenery that Skye had to offer. I also didn't realise how off grid the site is and wasn't prepared with sufficient charge on my phones, which would have been fine were they not our only source of time (we arrived on the night the clocks changed) and our cameras. I may have missed this detail in booking but it would have been useful for this to have been made clearer so that we could have arrived better prepared for our first day on the island. Rechargeable alarm clocks may be a useful addition to rooms for those of us not used to early mornings but who want to make the most of this magical place.
Be aware, eco really means eco. Although I personally had no problem with this, the composting toilet may not be to everyone's preference.

Site is fantastic there’s no light pollution at all at night and I’ve never seen so many stars in the sky it was incredible. Lots to do and see locally. Owners have gone to great lengths to make the sight beautiful and sustainable.

The shower!! The fire took a bit of getting used to but it was great once I figured it out! Enjoyed the tranquility of the location and no light pollution to appreciate the night sky!
Not being able to stay awake to add wood to the fire. Got a bit chilly through the night but there were plenty of blankets and water bottles provided.

The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous, the wood burning stove made the room beyond cosy, we were snug as bugs in rugs! Lots of thoughtful touches like hot water bottles, extra blankets and candles, a very well stocked kitchen and THE MOST GORGEOUS warm greenhouse shower to get clean in after a dip at Coral Beach round the corner!
The whole place was delightful, I can't fault any of it. Just bring extra warm jumpers and coats for the nighttime outdoor scurry to the loo.

Eco Bells was such an amazing experience. We booked quite a few months ago and Nadia and Scott were responsive and friendly from the start. Our cabin was just wonderful, so cosy and cute with lots of extra blankets to keep you warm. We were also allowed to bring our dog and Marley loved it. For us it was just the full package, the location was stunning with such a beautiful drive and was easy to find. The site itself had been well thought out, from communal eating and cooking areas, an environmentally friendly toilet, plenty of space between Cabins, to the most fantastic shower!! I have to say the shower was probably my favourite thing. Scott and Nadia have obviously put a lot of love into creating Skye Eco Bells, if you are looking to totally unwind and do something different to the usual hotel stay please don't hesitate to book here, you won't regret it.
There was nothing we didn't like

The kitchen/cooking area was really well equipped, and everything was clean. Our room, was delightful, and the lanterns were good too, and added to the ambience.
Maybe sort out, how to store matches, which you provide, as with anything left out, they did become a little damp and were not able to strike.

Bed is very comfy and once the fire is lit, the lodge becomes very cosy with all the candles. Wasn’t sure what to expect, as we don’t normally stay in this sort of place. Kitchen facilities were good and if you needed to cook, there’s everything there. The room and shared facilities were all clean.
Near lots of great walks and tourist attractions. Would recommend Dunvegan castle and gardens and Old Man of Storr
Not sure about a composting loo, but got used to it for 2 days. could have better lighting in the toilets and shower area. The greenhouse with the shower was different, but there was hot running water so that was good after a cold afternoon in the rain.
