Comfortable stay, allot of privacy and own parking spot next to the cabin. Nice heads up message from the owner telling us everything we needed to know. He made sure the cabin was heated when we arrived. The view out of the cabin was amazing!
The road leading up to the cabin could be a bit challenging for the first drive because of the potholes (especially in the dark).

Stunning location and the interior of the log cabin is so beautiful. Great amenities and everything you need for your stay. I will definitely recommend to others.

John, the owner, was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The cottage is private and in a scenic, natural water front location and is well insulated and heated, is equipped with everything a couple could want for a short stay. Milk, coffee, tea, orange juice were provided. The shower is the perfect temperature but is a little small. Internet reception was good. Bring some supplies as local cafes and restaurants are unreliable. The town of Portree, about 40 minutes away, has good cafes etc. All up this property is a great stay.
The shower was a little small but this wasn’t a big issue for us. The cabins other features (equipment, location and friendly owner) more than made up for this.

We had cabin 2. Property is located in a area with stunning views and full privacy. In under a minute from the cabin you reach the shore where one can see seals and sea birds (also from the cabin where John has left binoculars for one to use) It is incredibly quiet and peaceful. The cabin is equipped with all one needs including cooking facilities. John is very friendly and enjoyed speaking with him, as is Karen. John is a fisherman and if you inclined for some seafood (lobster crab etc) do tell him. I would not hesitate to visit this cabin again in the future.
Nothing at all

It was the perfect little cabin to stay, great amenities (little kitchen, great views, nice clean cabin and bathroom) and a great center point for all the things we wanted to do on Skye!
No complaints to give

Had everything we could need, just like home! Comfortable, warm, clean and great host. Fantastic views of seals swimming and lying on the rocks. Storm Floris decided to join us during our stay and our host checked in on us to ensure we were ok and see if we needed anything. They kept us up to date with the Storm, when power would be restored and just anything that they could.
Nothing…. Was a fantastic stay

The cabin was super clean and well stocked. The view was spectacular.
There isn’t a place to put clothes. Would have liked shampoo and body wash. I didn’t know to bring my own.

View was amazing. Takes a while to get to the property down a bumpy lane but worth it.
Cabin was lovely, had everything you need. Bed and linen superb.
A great place to stay. Did I mention the view!!
Combo microwave/oven a bit complicated for us!!
Water tasted a bit odd!
Shower towels could be a bit bigger to wrap round yourself.
All minor points as overall it was a lovely place.

What a beautiful quiet location this is, views out over the sea with seals basking on the rocks and if you're lucky a gorgeous sunset.
The cabin was spotlessly clean and has everything you could need, it also makes a good base to visit the many attractions on the island as we did for the four days we stayed here.
The owner John gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was very helpful indeed, it really is a beautiful place and I would highly recommend.
Nothing.

Spotlessly clean. Well designed. Overlooks a loch near town of Dunvegan. Good wifi.
Owner a very kind man who was most helpful with a problem with the rental car.

Very well appointed comfortable accommodation with beautiful views over the loch. Seeing the seals basking on the rocks was amazing. The Fairy Pools attraction is well worth a visit but be prepared for a challenging walk in places.
Some information regarding the disposal of rubbish and recycling waste would have been useful.

John was there when I arrived. He had some great suggestions for nearby walks. The cabin was cozy and private. I watched the seals play in the bay in front of the cabin! There was milk and orange juice in the refrigerator when I arrived. The rack in the shower was the first I’ve come across in all of my stays, and it was super helpful! I wasn’t tripping over my shower supplies! The washer and dryer were handy, given that I walked and many times it rained. Portree CoOp is the best place to pick up a few groceries.

An absolutely gorgeous little cabin with breathtaking views even in all the rain.
Good heating system, friendly and helpful hosts, it feels very private.
You do hear the wind and rain very clearly but that isn't a negative for us personally.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

John was a fantastic host, even waited for us even though we were 3 hours late. The cabin is stunning and everything was well thought out. We had views of sheep, ducks, seals and otters from the cabin. Truly lovely stay.

Had a fantastic few night's stay here. The views are incredible, just loved sitting on the porch and looking out - even spotted a seal just offshore. There's also a picnic bench right on the waters edge you can walk down to and sit!
The cabin itself is well arranged (very clean and modern), a good size and has everything needed for the stay - even has use of a barbecue and washing machine at the back if needed - we had a great BBQ with a view.
Very friendly owners as well, wanting to make sure you have everything needed when you arrive.
Overall I think we'll have to be back as we really enjoyed our time.

the view is amazing, you can see the sea from the bed, seal taking sunbath, sheep around, so peaceful.
you can find everything you need in the cabin, we have been lucky to be able to use the bbq and not the washing-drying machine !
John is an helpful host, ready to share some tips about his island.
we will definitely come back in his cabin if we visit again the island.

A great place to stay. The cabin was absolutely spotless and well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. John is a lovely guy and nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We will be definitely be returning for another holiday.
There was nothing we didn't like

The remoteness and the view.
Some more storage for clothing.

The cabin was in an amazing location, very remote but beautiful, which is what we wanted! Although compact, the chalet was very well equipped for self catering and our hosts had provided us with milk and orange juice on our arrival. Also the heating had been left on so it was lovely and snug when we arrived quite late on a cold autumn evening! Our hosts were very helpful but didn't bother us at all.

Nothing springs to mind. If we had anything that we're a bit picky about was that the double bed was a a bit cozy. We are used to a King. But we are being very picky.
Lovely and clean, warm and cozy. Everything provided including salt and pepper coffee milk sugar tea, towels toilet paper. Bed and pillows so cozy. Beautiful views and oh so quiet and peaceful.
