we were very unhappy due to the owner being so unhelpful!

The name that appears on the site, Cozy Seaside is no longer used so we could not find it as that name does not appear anywhere on the road so we could not find it. If it hadn't been for two lovely neighbors we never would have found it. The owner would not pick up when I called and was rude when my husband finally reached him. I have never had such a negative experience in using booking.com. I would never recommend staying here to anyone!

We barely got to stay there as we could not find it until late at night. It had a nice view and I wish we could have gotten to enjoy it!

We were challenged by the tiny bedroom with single bed configuration (but were aware before our stay) and this was well compensated with the windows and skylights and everything else!

Amazing place for a quiet getaway.

Absolutely amazing views and so quiet. The cottage was small but space was well utilised. Easy to find and check in was smooth.

A few cobwebs around the inside and the two cafe styled dining chairs were noisy and one was crooked and not great to sit on.

This was a self-catering " bothy" . Very compact but comfortable, and in a great location with beautiful views from the balcony across the sea loch.

It was generally well equipped but there were one or two items i would have liked including a flat baking tray, and a few more dessert spoons.

A great location with wonderful views and all the basic facilities worked within the property.

The property is cramped inside, especially the right hand single bed….because of very little room to get your head to the pillow without banging your head on the ceiling. The instructions on what to do with recycled and waste bags needs updating so that it makes sense in terms of the bins that are available. The cooking pans and dishes need to be more comprehensive. We had the impression the owner did not want us to cook. The TV reception is hit and miss, but that might be normal on Skye.

Disgusting service. Avoid !

We drove over 4 hours to get to this property to be told 2 hours after arrival that they can not accommodate us. We were given no key safe code and the host was unreachable. With no other local places to stay we had to drive all the way back home.

Idyllic location. Views from Birdsong Bothy were exceptional. Very nice layout. Modern conveniences. Comfortable seating for relaxing and taking in views. Nice, well equipped kitchen. Great bathroom and shower. Efficient layout makes the most of this cozy space. Loved returning here at the end of a day exploring on Skye.

Great Location, clean and comfortable.

First impression was the stunning views and the small size of the property. In fact the cottage had been well thought out with views to the loch and distant mountains and the layout worked well for two people. Everything was clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well. Off road parking outside cottage. Location was at end of no through road so no passing traffic. (for Skye) very good value.

One of the beds is under the eaves so need to be careful when getting out of bed to avoid banging head. Road pst Three Chimneys has some serious potholes!

Despite the weather, we felt we had a very comfortable, homely base which we enjoyed very much.

The property has exceptional views, was clean and was well equipped. I liked the fact it was quite small, which made it feel cozy and easy to manage.

My son didn’t like the smallness, for example the beds. lie under a slopping roof which meant your head was mere inches away when lying in bed. He chose to sleep on the couch in the room below, which he found more comfortable. The local roads were challenging on your car’s suspension particularly when arriving in the dark.

A lovely stay, which could easily have been made fantastic!

Very clean, well equipped property in a great location with lovely views

We were refused a key to open the patio doors (on health & safety grounds) so had to sit behind the glass doors and peer out. There was a bench outside but that didn’t really compensate. We knew the bedroom space was small - but felt it could have been better configured if a double bed was used rather than 2 singles.

Spectacular location overlooking the loch. walk-in distance to 3 Chimneys Restaurant (highly recommend). Bedroom separated from the living space which was a plus. Cute decor!

Wonderful bothy in a peaceful location, great views with great walks nearby

Gorgeous little bothy in an idyllic location. Views out of this world. When we weren't out and about we just sat and looked out at the ever-changing view and wildlife. We love this area of Skye and always treat ourselves to dinner at the Three Chimneys when we visit - this is a 5 minute walk down through a field (a bit boggy in November and not recommended in the dark but less than 15 minutes around by the road which is very quiet or a three minute drive. The bothy is well-equipped - no dishwasher but not an issue for us for a couple of days. As others have said the upstairs is tiny but cosy and the bathroom is downstairs but we had no issue with that. Do bring things like tea, coffee, shampoo etc with you as there is nothing left for guests in the bothy and the nearest shop is a few miles away!

The only thing I'd say is that it felt a bit over-furnished for the space. We didn't sit on the sofa at all and I can't imagine the table (folded) and chairs (stacked) get much use as there is a nice dining area for two at the kitchen counter. I'd sooner have had a chest of drawers to put our things away but that's only a detail especially for a couple of days.

Birdsong Bothy was a comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful setting, view. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Attention to detail in regards to design. very cosy.

Bothy is a bit remote from the Peninsula but very close to Dunvegan castle. sleeping area is tight. Had to be careful with slanted roof, especially on one side of the room. we are very tall people. Communication with Angus was a bit slow as he was traveling.

Charming tiny getaway in the countryside

This place is just as charming as I dreamed! Once you get used to driving on the single track roads nearby, it’s simply a joy. My sister and I loved looking out at the water and watching sheep and rabbits from the comfy chairs by the windows.

The small space can be tricky if you toss and turn - I whacked my knee on an eave while rolling over. Also, it would have been nice to get more fresh air in there. It can get stuffy. Finally, little thing of only one roll of toilet paper provided for 3 nights. But a stop at the adorable general store in Glendale remedied that.

The view was out of this world!!! beautifully renovated to extremely high standard. Absolutely everything we needed. Facilities were fantastic. Very homely, warm and inviting. Loved feeding the birds and watching them at the feeder along with the sheep and bunnies. We even saw dolphins through the provided binoculars playing by the islands. Angus was great with providing information and all the essentials we needed were provided. We loved this place and I felt sad to leave, wished I’d booked for the whole week and not just the 2 nights. There’s so much to do locally and I only scratched the surface. We visited Dunvegan Castle, Coral beach and the Fairy Pools. Everything was so perfect and I miss being there and feeling so relaxed and enjoying the birds and the views and the amazing accommodation

Bird Song Bothy

Facilities are great and although the bothy is small the layout makes good use of the space. shower is lovely and views out of the main window is stunning. Is very close to the three chimneys restaurant which was amazing.

Bedroom is definitely cosy! Beds are under the sides of the sloping roof so take this into account when booking if this wouldn’t suit you as I wary of banging my head if I rolled over in my sleep!
