Property was an Italian wooden cabin. Everything was new and clean. There was a small kitchen, clean bathroom and shower and comfortable bed. Heating system was wonderful.

Beautiful location and property (pod) is well presented. Really appreciated the milk, coffee and cookie treats - very nice touch.

It is set up for 2 people - however it would be nice to have additional plates, cutlery - a set of 4. When cooking if you used a plate in the process then you had to wash it (and cutlery) when ready to eat your meal. Also there is no frying pan (keeps things cleaner) but be aware you are cooking everything in a pot. It is a fair distance from services (30-40 min) so be sure to get all your groceries prior to heading to the property.

Perfect romantic getaway for two people.

The pod itself isn't huge but just right for two people. The main selling point is the terrace however which faces west and gives incredible views of the sunset.

Missing one or two things which might have been useful in a self catering pod such as a frying pan. The water pressure wasn't great, don't try showering while someone is washing up!

The perfect island escape

Fantastic, cosy getaway place with a great view of the coast. Nice interior design and all (but not more than) the equipment you'll need. Everything was clean and in good condition.

The flipside of a beautiful remote location like this is that you have to do a lot of driving on narrow single lane roads to get to and from it, so I'd suggest a compact car. But that's hardly surprising and 'part of the deal'.

The property is extremely clean, nice and very well located.

The host didn’t give us any information about how to check in. In the end we had to try the door to find that it was unlocked. Still, there were two pods and we didn’t know which one was ours. Again, the host just didn’t reply to any of our messages. Reception is very bad in the area, so calling was impossible. We had to choose randomly.

Just put a sign out front stating that these are the Ardmore Pods.

This a marvellous little space with an incredible view of the North Atlantic. Quiet, in beautiful farmland. I enjoyed watching sheep and new lambs from my front door. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

No signs, it took me several times to find where it was located. Finally found the community it was in, listed as Trumpan, but should follow the sign for Waternish (my sat-nav wasn’t working). There were no house numbers on the surrounding buildings, but the pods looked like the ones in the Booking photo, so I waited outside. Finally just went up to the door of the one that looked in-occupied and it was open. Apparently it was where I was to be. I think clearer instructions on arrival and signage would make this a perfect spot to stay. I would stay there again.

Superb

The pod was lovely and cosy and had all we needed to entertain ourselves and cook. The location was remote, but as we had the car and plenty of petrol, we were able to plan our days and go out and do lots of exploring. The wifi, though the pod is remote, worked well and we were able to stream shows in the evenings.

There was one particular night that was very stormy, I was surprised at how sturdy the pod felt which was great, unfortunately the high winds blew through the extractor fan vents and the flaps outside made a racket which kept us awake more than the storm would have. This didn't happen on any other occasion though so it's just a small point really.

I liked the cabin (pod) itself, the completely different experience if compared with hotels or so. Also the locality was fine the only thing I did not like too much was there is not a pub or a place to meet up with locals ;-)

It might be my own fault, but I struggled with underfloor heating and was unable (even when following the written instructions) to heat up the dop a bit more. My final "success" was between 18°C - 20°C, which is not comfortable when you get wet during your walk to the ocean or so. Another thing that - from my point of view - should be added to written instructions is "how to lock" the door (I finally found the way, but I had struggled with that at the very beginning).

Location! The pod is exceptionally clean and the fixtures and fittings to a very high standard. Fresh milk in the fridge and a packet of shortbread a nice touch.

The Pod is in a beautiful location (but very far out). The beds are super comfy, beautiful scenery, nice living space and just what you need for a short stay. It was a lovely tough providing us with milk and cake!

While there was a lot of amenities, there was lacking in few useful thins including mugs (this was brought to us once we asked) and frying pans. there was a coffee machine but it didn't work.

Great quiet and relaxing location. Very clean and comfortable. The pod had everything upon arrival after a long journey. Small items such as salt pepper cooking oil kitchen film etc. were all in there which made life easy and saved us a trip to go to the shops

Gorgeous pod and lovely hosts

Gorgeous pod, well equipped with everything you need - pots, pans, plates and cutlery. The tea, biscuits and coffee pods was a lovely touch, as was the shower bag, very tasteful and thoughtful! The pod was immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy! Great views from the decking and lovely and peaceful here - perfect getaway for a couple of any age and a great location to explore Skye from, thank you!

Unfortunately the hot water wasn’t working on arrival. After contacting the hosts they came round immediately to try to fix it however a new unit was required and it couldn’t be fully resolved. We had to play around with the water whenever we wanted to use it, which was slightly inconvenient however we did eventually get hot water when we needed it and this was no fault of the hosts, who were very apologetic and tried their best to remedy the situation. We were also disappointed that the WiFi was too weak to stream any programmes on the tv, we also struggled to get internet on our phones. In a remote area we didn’t expect strong WiFi and this wasn’t a major problem however it was advertised that there was WiFi which we expected would work well - just be prepared it is very weak so bring your card games!

Cozy and comfortable atmosphere in a small pod. Views are stunning and owner is very friendly.

Only one cooking field on the stove makes it harder to cook yourself. However, there is also an oven available.
