About this house rental

The cottage has an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. Seating comprises of a breakfast bar, leather sofa and two arm chairs.

The mezzanine sleeping area has 2 beds which can be singles or joined as a double.

There is no bathtub but there is a stylish shower.

Natural light pours into the house through large windows that allow full appreciation of the surrounding vistas and compliments the white and natural wood tones of the decor. There is a sea view balcony for sitting and dining .

Access is to the whole house and is unrestricted

There will be no need for meet and greet as a key shall be available in a keysafe attached to the house
Communication with the host by voicemail or text will be welcomed

The setting is the stunning Isle of Skye. The cottage looks east and faces the sun rising over Loch Dunvegan.

Within a few minutes drive are the famous coral beaches, the spectacular Neist Point Lighthouse and the enchanting seat of the clan Macleod at Dunvegan Castle. Further afield but within an hour guests will find The Fairy Pools, Quirrang and the Cullin Hills.
Eating out places abound but most will require a designated driver. The only exception the world famous Three Chimneys which is a mere five minutes walk.

Cyclists will enjoy a number of short or longer haul loops is breathtaking locations. Those that prefer to walk can do so on local roads or on the heather clad moor. Boat trips are available from a number of points on the island including Dunvegan.

Groceries can be purchased in Supermarkets in Broadford, Portree or Kyle but guests may prefer to support local grocers in Glendale and Dunvegan. The weather is changeable but never dull and beautifully complements the stunning landscape.

There is a seasonal bus service to Portree but guest will need a car to fully explore the island. A local taxi service is available.
