Great stay at the Loft

The loft was so clean and comfortable! The owners live downstairs and were very kind and helpful. They provided snacks and breakfast food, which was very thoughtful! This was the most beautiful location of our entire trip to Ireland and Scotland. We would love to return!!

Exactly what I imagined when I booked.

Location was beautiful and the accommodation was very spacious and elegant in its decor with everything you needed to be self sufficient. The added breakfast and snack condiments were a bonus.

A preference would have been to have had a queen size bed.

Tranquil and exceedingly comfy!

Cary’s and Bill keep it spotlessly clean and perfectly appointed. Many thoughtful touches, like fresh milk in the fridge for a weary traveler’s breakfast. So much gorgeous natural lighting and lovely sea view. When you weren’t viewing the sea, you were able to view the neighbors, charming sheep frolicking around the pasture. I loved this place. The peace and tranquility was perfect.

A perfect place for a perfect holiday !!

Everything was perfect !! A beautiful , cossy and spotlessly clean loft with stunning views. It is a wonderful quiet place where you can enjoy nice walks The location is quite good to discover the isle . Carys is a great host and has everything ready for an excellent stay at the Loft: amenities as if you were in a 5 star hotel and coffee, milk, bread, cheese etc etc … We had problems with a damaged wheel in our car and she was extremely helpful !! Many thanks Carys !!!

The Loft was absolutely fabulous. It was so comfortable, just like home away from home. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves. It was spotlessly clean, and they had supplies there for us, like milk, bread etc. Such a lovely welcoming touch. Just loved it. Bill was so good to us, so friendly and helpful.

Exceptional in every way. Fantastic hosts, large modern accommodation surrounded by sheep and water. We were so glad our original place in Portree cancelled in us and we were offered this place. Even the treats where brilliant. Close to Dumvegan castle and the fabulous head.

A truly memorable holiday

The Loft at Strathardle was lovely. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. Carys was a perfect host and made sure we had a relaxing holiday. The location is beautiful and not far from Dunvegan and a small store for provisions.

The best place that we stayed in entire Scotland! Carys was an extremely welcoming host. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. Just in case of bad weather, you can choose from a big variety of books, board games, and BlueRay movies. Views from the apartment's window were amazing. You can also take a short walk to see beautiful cliffs. Highly recommended! We hope to visit Lofthouse again.

We loved our stay in the Loft, a beautiful place and wonderful hosts.

The Loft is absolutely beautiful with stunning views directly looking over the water. We had arrived from overseas for an 11 week holiday only a few days earlier and unfortunately neither my husbands or my suitcase had arrived so we only had a couple of pieces clothing each. Carys and Bill the owners were not only very welcoming but went above and beyond the call of duty and twice washed and dried our clothes for us. When our car didn't start on the first evening to go to the local shop for food, they very kindly gave us food for dinner. Breakfast was supplied and lovely, with fresh fruit tea and coffee. The Champayne also helped us to drown our sorrows over the lost suitcases !! Its also close to some beautiful walks and scenery.

A beautiful and remote Loft with amazing views and exceptional hosts.

This is hands down one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at. Carys is an exceptional host who has thought of every detail, from the design and amenities, to the bottle of wine she left us and the insanely beautiful and quite location. The Loft is beautiful, the view of the ocean and landscape is stunning. The only issue was that the pictures do not do it justice.
