Lovely secluded location looking over the water. Loved the extra touches such as the variety of biscuits provided and the blankets on the chairs.

Smart & clean in a peaceful location

The design of the pod is exceptional and there are little "smart-living" touches everywhere so the space is brilliantly utilised. The location is peaceful and quiet, with about 5-10min drive to the nearest town. We stayed before our wedding so it was the perfect calm before the chaos. The owners are lovely and it was great to meet them in person. Would really recommend staying here for a calm getaway.

Epic place for a NC500 stopover.

A wonderful, idyllic property owned and maintained by some of the loveliest people you’ll meet. Wonderful sea views, and top notch amenities provided. I recommend checking in with the hosts once you arrive. You’ll be happy for the company and they’ll be happy to share some tips with you.

10/10!! This place was perfect for my husband and I. Already dreaming of returning for another stay here. Incredibly kind host who thought of everything you could possible need during your stay. The little details were thoughtful and practicable. Communication was great and we felt very welcomed and right at home in this home away from home. Highly recommend. The location was perfectly remote and lovely, yet close enough to Dunvegan for anything you may need. We stayed in 5 different places during our travels through Scotland and this was our favorite by far!! Don’t hesitate on booking.

Cozy, Warm and Inviting

The location was lovely, right in the middle of the Isle of Skye, about half-an-hour by car to wherever you'd like to go. The pod is tiny, and I say this as a good thing, it's cozy and very functional in a warm embracing way that feels like a home-away-from-home. The pod was full of information about the Isle of Skye, we never had a moment of sitting and wondering "where to go today" just because thee was so much to see, and Shirley and Kevin were very helpful in recommending places to go, and overall a joy to talk to.

The only issue my partner and I had was the smoke detector going off whenever we made breakfast

Perfect little pod with everything that you can think of. Even cooking oil, salt and pepper are provided! Very cosy with views of sheep from the toilet. Perfect stay and didn’t want to leave.

A great base for adventures on Skye

The pod was comfortable and really well equipped. Everything you would need to cook a nice dinner. Always plenty of hot water and the shower was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice seating area outside with lovely views. The information package provided was excellent.

Perfect cosy litte pod, made with so much love, great view, private - just a perfect stay!

The pod was absolutely amazing with a great view. It was very, very clean and you can find absolutely everything you need in the pod. A book about the pod explains everything you need to know or to find several things (garbage can, electricity, heating, also nex tank point etc.). There was also a book with tips about several trips or sightseeing on Skye which led us to some beautiful places. We will definitely book the Stargazer again as it was just absolutely wonderful and peaceful. The whole facility was very attractive and designed with so much love.

Everything was perfect and clean! The pod is a real hideaway with direct lake view in athe front and sheep munching grass and playing around over the window of bathroom.😆The size of the pod is moderately adequate for a couple and we had everything we needed during the stay. Skye has been the highlight of our whole trip, and the stargazer pod made it unforgettable. We will definitely come back in the future and recommend it to everyone who visit Skye.

The smoke alarm is quite sensitive (which is not a drawback at all). To avoid unnecessary alarm/noise, by previous experience, we had opened wide both the window and the door whenever we used the stove. The alarm beeped however in an unexpected occasion 😅- when we used the toaster in the first morning even with window and door opened.

Best Pod we've ever stayed in. Spacious, clean and fully stocked. We loved the welcome package! The location is wonderful next to a lovely bay. The owners are so nice and willing to help with everything you need.

The road to the Pod is quite badly scattered with potholes. But we've gotten used to them after a while :)

Everything is perfect! Lots of things such as coffee machine, oven tray, slippers, outdoor towel etc are also well prepared in this small & cute Pod. Host is friendly and come to say hi on the first day. The user Manuel and the guiding booking are so useful too.

Fantastic Pods, Ideally Located and Very Well Appointed

The Stargazer pod at Harlosh Hideaways was perfect, we could not have wished for anymore. The attention to detail, facilities and comfort were second to none. The pod was very spacious and very well appointed with everything we needed and more. We loved the seating area just outside and the views across to the Cuillins. Harlosh Hideaways were perfectly located to explore all of Skye, however our favourite walk was directly from the pod and round the peninsular taking in spectacular views and away from the more crowded attractions. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Stargazer Pod at Harlosh Hideaways.

The pod was very well presented, lots of very well thought out creature comfort’s. Surprisingly warm and very cosy. Plus the views out to the Loch and Harlosh Island are superb.

There’s nothing that we didn’t like. The only slight improvement that springs to mind would be better illumination when making use of the porch in the dark.
