Best place we stayed in on our Scottish Roadtrip!

Without a doubt, best place we stayed in on our Scottish Roadtrip. Please keep in mind that this is Baba's own house and you are staying with her, however you have the first floor all to yourself (beautiful bedroom, beautiful bathroom and an amazing dining area). Baba is such a wonderful host as well as her cats Tom and Jerry. On a daily basis she cleaned oue cups and plates, provided biscuits, coffee tea, fruit and milk. There is also a parking. The place was so soo clean and beautiful views of Dunvegan. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect ! Like being at home. Everything up-to-date, modern and spotless.

Babba was so helpful. There are 2 rooms here. The bedroom and separate sitting room complete with a microwave tea kettle and also a fridge and multiple cutlery, glasses dishes, etc.. we did not use that however it would’ve been easy to bring food in and prepare our own sandwiches. The place was spotless and I loved going downstairs to visit with Tom and Jerry, the lovely cats as they were not allowed upstairs. Very Modern and I would highly recommend it. The location was actually very suitable to see all of skye. I like this location much better than portree.

Very comfortable and Baba had thought of everything. Well positioned for all the things we wanted to see and do around Dunvegan. A kind and caring host. Great parking facilities right in front of the door.

A friendly and comfortable place to stay.

Babas Rooms is like a small apartment, there is a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. They occupy the top floor of the host’s house (number 10) and are for exclusive use of guests. Note that they are an integral part of the house with no door separating. Not an issue for us because room doors can be individually locked for privacy. The rooms are fresh and clean with modern furniture and equipment. The host Baba was friendly and always willing to help with local knowledge. Lots of thoughtful details. Really appreciated the phone charging power outlet column with USB outlets. No chasing around looking for wall outlets. We found our stay relaxed and easy.

We were unable to get stable operation from the flow through water heater in the shower.

It is the homeowner's house and it is a very cosy, comfortable, and well maintained home. We had one bedroom, one living room and a bathroom for our particular use. It was very clean. Homeowner has two cats- definitely friendly just like their owner Baba.

Pleasant accommodation with friendly, helpful host.

It was very comfortable and we had our own sitting room next to the bedroom. Baba provided a bowl of fruit, tea, coffee, milk and sugar in our sitting room. She was very friendly and helpful and even drove us to a restaurant.

THE perfect place to stay in Dunvegan!

Babas Rooms are fabulous. Renovated and immaculate, the entire top floor is yours. Not only is there a spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed and separate modern bathroom, there is also your own sitting room with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Baba is a delightful, caring, generous host and gave us great recommendations of places to eat and visit. A short stroll to the village, it is the ideal base to explore Dunvegan and surrounds. Gem in Dunvegan

Comfortable, cozy stay with spacious bedroom, bathroom, and lounge room with tea and coffee—an excellent space to recover after a busy day of adventures. We stayed for a short visit with Baba and had a lovely chat with great advice about the area! Bonus very friendly cat(s)! (They are very polite and stay out of the rental rooms)

Like a home away from home

I liked everything. Baba was a wonderful hostess and the cats Tom and Jerry were delightful. Baba went above and beyond what I expected and I would definitely stay again and would recommend her to my friends and family. The property is in a good location on Skye and the rooms are comfortable and baba keeps them very clean and tidy. The study is a lovely place to relax with a cuppa in the morning or in the evening before going to bed.

Baba's Rooms - The jewel of Dunvegan!

Got off to a great start with a warm welcome by our host Baba who shared a lot of local information with us, most helpful - super hospitality. This is a lovely accommodation. The finishing touches were beautiful. Comfortable, warm and clean bedroom with comfy bed and pillows. We slept well. Good cupboard space. A bonus was a well appointed sitting room with facilities such as a coffee making machine and a microwave and a sparkling fridge. TV came in handy! Bathroom was lovely, good shower! Free parking right outside the door. We were 22 miles from the town of Portree. Loved the stunning scenery on our drives. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

A home away from home

Babas rooms were the perfect place to stay - spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and great location. The separate lounge/mini kitchen area is very inviting with comfortable armchairs, TV etc and provides a fridge microwave, kettle, coffee machine and tea/coffee provisions. Baba is the perfect host and quietly and calmly goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. Just loved this place - a true home away from home.

Baba was a great host! The room and the bathroom were perfectly clean, just as the rest of the home was. The room was very cozy and we slept really well. The breakfast was very well served and there was everything we could have asked for !! We recommend!

A good location for a first visit to Skye

Well located in the village of Dunvegan which has ample amenities; a convenience store, post office, petrol station, cafes, and a few restaurants (book ahead to avoid disappointment). Baba provides good free parking, readily advises on places to eat on the Isle, and allows use of her kitchen for breakfast and drinks.

The downside of a shared bathroom was the risk of midges when the window was left open. A kettle in the room would have meant a more private stay, and hot breakfast options would be better for longer stays.

LUXURIOUS STAY

Loved everything about it, decor, beautiful location, great host. You couldn't ask for more. It was perfect for my needs: quiet, clean, plus amazing value considering the price of places in Isle of Skye. Babas rooms are new, nicely decorated and extremely clean.You share bathroom with another room, but this was not a problem for me. Bathroom was spotlesly clean.I had the best sleep after a very long time, bedding and bed linen are of a high quality. Continental breakfast was lush.I found the neighbourhood to be safe and quiet, and there were some very cool restaurants and bars about a 10-15 minute walk away). Many amazing places to eat, so foodies check out. Check in was very easy and communication with Baba was spot on. Highly recommended! LUXURIOUS STAY, FIVE STARS. Really really realy good place to stay.

Best B&B on the Isle of skye

Baba and rodger were so welcoming that we felt at home straight away. Simple little things that made our trip so special! The beds were very comfortable, the european style breakfast was filling and the shared bathroom was really clean. Nothing wrong but the fact we had to leave so soon !!
