It’s a clean, cosy apartment with all necessary facilities
It’s in the middle of nature so the surrounding is beautiful
The apartment is far from Portree but that’s no surprise since it is mentioned in the listing

Lochanside is such a gorgeous property. The perfect place to stay when visiting Skye.
Really well equipped, including a super stocked kitchen, toiletries and books/games. Lovely extra touches too.
The view from the lounge window is unbelievable. I could stand there all day!! Mark and Ann were excellent hosts. Both so welcoming and happy to assist with any queries we had (and thanks again Mark for my first aid!!). Plus the sheep and little lambs were a huge bonus!!
We would love to stay here again if we are back to the the Isle of Skye.
Nothing! Just to other travellers; it is quite remote so having a car is pretty essential!

Very scenic location on Skye. Was a nice touch to be greeted with a “wee dram” at the property.
Cannot fault this property.

The couple that own it were very welcoming and if we’d have needed anything they would have been there and the views from the living space was stunning!
For me I didn’t like the bedroom downstairs but obviously this was done to capture the views! Also very windy and the log burner although upstairs the wind vibrated down the flue making it noisy to sleep! The kitchen is very small and it had all the basics I wouldn’t have cooked there , I also didn’t like the OSB boards on the walls , although some might call it decorative!
