Everything - location, welcome, facilities and the view was exceptional. There were loads of books about Skye, birds in the area, things to see and do and so on. Nice touch with milk in the fridge and plenty of teabags, coffee including ground, bread, butter, jam, marmalade and honey!
There was nothing - it was perfect!

Our stay exceeded all our expectations!
We loved every minute at Lochanside. Exploring the grounds and spotting wildlife was a real highlight of our stay.
The peace and quiet here is truly special and made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We would happily return.
Nothing to dislike in the piece of paradise!

The view, the outlook, being able to see the wildlife, the binoculars and telescope, the quietness, the superb decor, the extra blanket, the beautiful toiletries, the friendly hosts.

The couple that own it were very welcoming and if we’d have needed anything they would have been there and the views from the living space was stunning!
For me I didn’t like the bedroom downstairs but obviously this was done to capture the views! Also very windy and the log burner although upstairs the wind vibrated down the flue making it noisy to sleep! The kitchen is very small and it had all the basics I wouldn’t have cooked there , I also didn’t like the OSB boards on the walls , although some might call it decorative!
