Absolutely wonderful beach view stay.

The hosts have truly thought of everything - from a first aid kit to binoculars there was anything you could ask for. Fantastic mini kitchen. Would highly recommend and would stay again!

We got in during the dark so it was a little hard to tell which driveway - maybe a pin on the driveway for directions would help. As soon as we realized at was the driveway across from the store we found it no problem.

Gorgeous location and very thoughtful hosts

A stunning little spot out on the west coast of Skye; deer and sheep all around with a view of sunset over the ocean right from the bed. The hosts are extremely thoughtful; the place is perfectly cozy and comfortable, and comes with a coffee machine, air fryer, microwave, fridge, toaster, plus plenty of essentials like bread, butter, coffee, etc – not to mention a library of guidebooks and even binoculars for birdwatching. The bathroom is also remarkably well-appointed, hot water comes on immediately and never ran out, with easy and effective temperature controls all the way up to piping hot. The hosts' directions by road were thorough, and when we arrived Nigel came out to guide us to the parking spot (spacious and easy to access) and show us how everything works. There's a café across the road which appears on Google Maps, so it's easy to route back to the place if e.g. you end up driving home in the dark without many signs or landmarks.

The wifi was spotty at first, but turning it off and on again once solved the problem for the entire rest of our stay. The lock on the front door is also quite stubborn.

An amazing place

We have been to some amazing places in the UK, but nothing comes close to the time we had here. Although we didn’t get the weather we was hoping for (our fault for going in November) Nigel went above and beyond to make sure we still got the most out of our time on the Isle of Skye. The location is breathtaking, it’s like something out of a movie. A beautiful view of the bay, with so many things nearby to do. The Pod has everything you need, we were even lucky enough to have an air fryer on the day we arrived. The cosy feel and set up makes you feel at home straight away. There was also a lovely hamper with lots of selections and also books to show you what the Island has to offer, my personal favourite was the binoculars which I took everywhere with me. The stay was made extra special by the hosts, who couldn’t do enough for you. They are very kind and helpful, who also go above and beyond for their customers. We cannot wait to come back!

Beautiful

We did a 14 hour drive from Gloucester and we did not reach our destination till 11pm. Nigel and his father stayed up and greeted us to help us settle in. They even offered to cook us some food as we had been travelling for so long. They could not have been more helpful

There is literally nothing we did not like about the property or the hosts or our stay. If was fantastic. The location is glorious and it was worth the 14 hour drive.

Fabulous little place!

We absolutely loved the location, within a half hour from both Dunvegan and Portree, and with direct access to the shore. We loved the view out the front door! Seals, sheep and sea. Well equipped, squeaky clean and very cozy. Hosts are fabulous and helpful. We would most definitely stay here again if we come back to the Isle of Skye. We loved our choice of accommodation and felt grateful to be there.

A bit tight if you like lots of space, but just right considering it's a pod. We never managed to light the barbecue as it was too windy. The hosts had offered the use of their oven if needed, but we felt a little uncomfortable doing that, so we settled on making sandwiches for dinner. No problem if you have a plan B for your meal!

Small, but well designed pod.

1. Location - good for exploring the western side of the island, not far away from Dunvegan Castle, Neist Point and Talisker. 2. Pod was small but well designed - with sitting area, sleeping area, kitchenette and bathroom. There was also a sitting area outside of the pod. 3. Kitchenette contained a microwave, kettle, coffee maker, small fridge and all the necessary cutlery. 4. All cleaning products and toiletries were provided. 5. No meal was advertised, but a basket with bread, jam, biscuits, tuna, milk, large bottle of water, tea and coffee was provided. 6. Free WiFi

1. Bathroom - sink was almost non existent, one person could hardly fit in the shower, there was nowhere to put our personal items. 2. Couple of extra hooks to hang towels/clothes would have been appreciated.

The Ose Pod is warm, comfortable, quiet, very well kitted out, and set in an amazing landscape.

We were tremendously impressed by every aspect of the Ose Pod. The couple running it had clearly given a lot of thought to the way it was kitted out. They even included guidebooks and binoculars. What's more, they were very friendly without being intrusive. Besides being warm, comfortable, and extremely quiet, the pod itself has extraordinary views. Directly in front of its glazed front door and decking is a strip of pasture, beyond which are rocks on which seals bask, and beyond that is the sea, flanked by mountains.

Where to start? The hosts are super nice. The pod is great and very thoughtfully furnished. It even includes little Details like binoculars to watch the seals or tick tweezers - just in case. The view is gorgeous. The organisation is smootheless. All around a perfect stay in a perfect location :) We can not thank you enough for the great time we could enjoy in your pod :)

The view was breathtaking. Nigel & Lynne went above and beyond to provide little attention to make our stay perfect. We had binoculars to watch the wildlife around the Pod, midges protection net & repellent, soothing cream in case of bites, … The welcome guide provides was really good with all information !

Better equipped than my own house!!! My stay at the Ose pod was nothing short of fantastic and the facilities and location are second to none. Immaculately presented and beyond equipped inside with everything you could wish for from a pod. The attention to detail that’s been put into it really stands out from the rest and a credit to the hosts. For a single traveler or couple it makes the perfect getaway and base to explore Skye and a cozy retreat at the end of a long day. Will happily look forward to staying again in the future!!

An awesome and most welcoming Pod, friendly Host

the uniqueness of the pod. It was beautifully set up. Everything you need and more. The views alone made this an absolutely incredible place to stay, and not to mention the comfortable cosiness of the accommodation itself. Magical place!

Probably one of the BEST accommodations we've ever been! Highly recommended to everyone! The pod is small but it has absolutely everything that you might need (very thoughtfully put together, even the things you don't know you need but do are available). The view is fantastic, the best place to wake up. Nigel was so kind, helped us with everything and anything we asked about, apart from that we had our privacy. We definitely plan on going back sometime!!!!
