La struttura era molto ben tenuta e curata. Un ottima camera e bagno ottimo. Unica pecca, non si possono vedere i lenzuoli stesi per le scale davanti alla camera, non per una struttura che si presenta in sé così elegante.

La colazione un vero dispiacere, nonostante la stupenda vista sul mare.

Ottima posizione. Struttura ristrutturata di recente. Parcheggio gratuito disponibile a 200 metri. Camera accogliente ma purtroppo con bagno cieco senza ventola. Da migliorare la colazione. Viene servita nel bar/ristorante di fianco all'albergo ma il personale si è limitato a farci scegliere un piatto dolce o uno salato senza elencarci le varie possibilità disponibili (brioche, frutta, etc....). The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom was nice and it looked clean and freshly renovated.

There are some concerns that do not justify the price and are no-go for us personally. First, loud music from the main street. If you want to party or are deep sleeper, great. We couldn’t sleep well. Second, the mattress is so hard. I have never experienced anything like this. I see many reviews on this, so it must be not only my feeling. Third, breakfast has three options only. For that price, you need to offer something more. This seems to have been consistent review from visitors for a number of years now. It could have been easily addressed with limited extra effort. Adding some fruit or yogurt to the menu shouldn’t cost so much. Fourth, strangely enough we couldn’t pay the water we took from the minibar at checkout with card because we have “received our receipt already”. But they have a functioning card reader and we paid with card the day before. We didn’t get any invoice for the water either. Not a big deal for me, but it just seems strange. Fifth, parking is five minutes away. Honestly not ideal for carrying your luggage. I guess it is the only option if you stay in the center, but it is good to be aware of this before you book. Sixth, reception staff was not particularly friendly. No Welcome, no How are you, no Have safe travels, no Was your stay okay, no proper info about Umag. Not a deal breaker for me, but again - a bit of training for your staff can make the whole experience much better. Overall, this hotel doesn’t correspond to its price based on my experience in other countries. It could be that this is the average standard in Umag. However, it has the potential if the owners make some extra effort to address the most common negative reviews that they receive.
