It's not even close to a 4 star hotel. Great staff and pizza

The staff is outstanding. Very polite, professional and accommodating. Also, the pizza they're making is a hidden gem. I would consider detouring just to stop-by for pizza next time I'm around. Hotel is very well positioned, with great beaches nearby and Umag is just 5km away. Good value for money, despite realistically being a 3 star facility.

It's not even close to 4 stars as advertised. Furniture seems to be decades old and couches in the lobby are basically holes around wooden frames. Beds are awful and walls between rooms are paper-thin. You can hear your neighbours even when they just casually talk.

Top location for exploring the area

The hospitality of owners, gives you a feeling like you are at home. Very nice experience, good breakfast. Beaches near by, local fresh fruit, plenty of entertainment, as well as quiet places if you need a rest. Great for kids and families.

Disapointing

The hotel was clean and in good condition. The price was reasonable. I presume the area is good for Summer holidays.

We slept badly - our room had a noisy water pipe which made a loud noise every time someone in the hotel drew water. An aircon or refrigeration unit outside our window made regular noise despite the winter climate. No kettle or coffee in the room. The front door was locked when we arrived at 19:45 Breakfast was disappointing- especially the orange juice and bread.

Z nastanitvijo sva bila zadovoljna in bi jo priporočila tudi ostalim.

Soba s kopalnico je bila sodobno opremljena, dovolj prostorna in z lastno klimo. Osebje je bilo zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo. Zajtrk je bil samopostrežen in vedno je bilo na voljo kar nekaj različnih vrst hrane.

Ponoči je bilo precej komarjev. Oddaljenost od plaže je cca.350m. Najbližje električna polnilnica je bila oddaljena cca.4 km. Pri zajtrku je bilo premalo sveže zelenjave.

Lage zentral in Basanija, Meerzugang in 10 min zu Fuß erreichbar, einige Restaurants in direkter Nähe. Exzellentes Frühstück - jeden Morgen eine andere kleine Spezialität am Buffet (Thunfisch, Apfelstrudel, Chorizo-ähnliche Wurst) - Auf Wunsch frisch zubereites Rührei/ Spiegelei - sehr guter Kaffee Generell hohe Qualität des Frühstücksbuffets Überdurchschnittlich große Zimmer mit viel Ablageflächen und Aufhängemöglichkeiten. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal

Einziger Kritikpunkt, Beginn des Frühstücksbuffets erst um 08:30 - für uns etwas spät, hat die Qualität unseres Aufenthalts dennoch nicht gemindert.

Leider war der Start für die Unterkunft misslungen.

Frühstück o.k. und ausreichend. Essensraum schön. Veranda mit Sofa ist schon außergewöhnlich. Motorradparkplatz direkt vor der Haustür.

Mir wurde ein Zimmer zugewiesen dass ich nicht reserviert hatte. Nach der Reklamation habe ich das reservierte Zimmer (Junior Suite) bekommen ohne einer Entschuldigung.

Werden sicher zu einem Kurzurlaub wiederkommen

Sehr zentral in Basanja gelegen nicht weit von Strand entfernt. Kein Restaurant mehr im Haus aber im Umland gibt es sehr gute Restaurants. Frühstück ist zwar nicht mit der österreichischen Vielfalt zu vergleichen, war aber trotzdem sehr gut und ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

Freundlicher Service, aber große Mängel bei Zimmer und Sauberkeit

Die Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich und stets bemüht. Schon beim Frühstück wurden wir sofort gefragt, ob wir Spiegeleier oder Ham and Eggs möchten – ein sehr aufmerksamer Service. Auch die hauseigene Pizza war hervorragend und absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir waren fünf Nächte im Hotel, doch das Zimmer wurde kein einziges Mal gereinigt. Auf Nachfrage an der Rezeption erhielten wir lediglich frische Hand- und Badetücher sowie neue Bettwäsche, eine gründliche Reinigung fand jedoch nicht statt. Gebucht war eine Junior Suite mit Terrasse – bekommen haben wir ein kleines Zimmer, bei dem nicht einmal erkennbar war, ob der zweite Raum zum Zimmer gehörte oder als Terrasse gedacht war. Die Duschkabine im Badezimmer war defekt und schmutzig, und es stand noch ein altes Duschgel von einem vorherigen Gast darin. Insgesamt entsprach der Aufenthalt nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Sosta rigenerante in piccola struttura.

Camere spaziose, pulite e dotate di ogni comfort (ovviamente tenendo conto della categoria dell'hotel, la cui quarta stella risulta forse un po' troppo generosa). La disponibilità del personale, invece, è da applausi; abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte ma è bastata per sentirci coccolati e trattati con una gentilezza e cordialità rare. Colazione con prodotti salati cucinati al momento e dolci ottimi. L'hotel ha un ristorante pizzeria anche aperto al pubblico in cui non abbiamo mangiato ma ho visto e mangiato con gli occhi delle pizze veramente ben fatte. Grandi complimenti a tutti ed in particolare a Goran, gentilissimo manager della struttura.

Bagno un pò datato (con scaldabagno che bisogna ricordarsi di non spegnere, magari inavvertitamente), ma pulito, pienamente efficiente e dotato di asciugacapelli non a parete, molto apprezzato da mia moglie.

La luce rossa sopra il letto e la comodità di questo sono stati degli elementi indimenticabili del nostro soggiorno. Il manager era bravo e ci ha offerto due birre, che poi, purtroppo, ci siamo dimenticati di bere. Le pizze che fanno sono buonissime, meglio di quelle che fanno in molte pizzerie italiane. Facile parcheggiare. C'è posto ai piedi dell'hotel e davanti in un piazzale pubblico.

Das Zimmer war groß genug.

Frühstück gibt es erst ab 8.30 Uhr. Wir waren zu viert u. hatten noch Auswahl u. genug von allem. Die anderen Gäste die nach 09.00 Uhr kamen, hatten keine Auswahl mehr u. das Buffet wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt. Die Hälfte der Glühbirnen im Badezimmer war kaputt.

Mjesto sa dušom...

Ovaj mali hotel koji ima dušu, a ona se ne kategorizira zvjezdicama, već srcem obitelji koja ju vodi. Izuzetno gostoljubivi domaćini, zaista se trude na najbolji mogući način pružiti gostu ono što rijetko ima koji hotel... dušu. Da li ima grešaka...ima naravno, ali pitam sve Vas da li Vi nikada ne griješite? Da li i kod kuče tražite savršenstvo , koje ne postoji ?.... Da li može bolje ? Uvijek može bolje... ali da li je to bolje zaista bolje... U ovom slučaju mislim da nije.... I zato ne mogu zamjeriti što su nam zamjenili sobu, ne mogu zamjeriti što na doručku nije bilo prepeličjih jaja, kad ti gazda ujutro kuha prvu kavu uz osmijeh i pitanje, jeste li dobro spavali ? Trebate li štogod..... to je ta duša koja ispunjava sve zvijezdice ovog prostora. Doručak, kojem apsolutno ništa nije falilo,jer sve što si želio , a nije bilo, mogao si jednostavno tražiti, uredna i čista soba, sa svim aparatima u funkciji, i taj osmijeh i uslužnost cijele obitelji ,koja za taj svoj prostor daje i srce i dušu u meni ostavlja samo duboki naklon i poštovanje.... Onaj tko traži savršenstvo, kome smetaju dvije mrvice na podu i tko očekuje spoj 6 internacionalnih kuhinja na jednom stolu za doručak,neka slobodno zaobiđe ovaj hotel... biti će više mjesta za nas.... Hvala još jednom na srdačnosti i uslužnosti i vidimo se svakako opet prvom prilikom....

Günstig aber nein Danke für die Zukunft

Die Lage war echt in Ordnung - mitten im Dorf und dennoch alles Wichtige in Reichweite auch für Gehfaule. Die angegebenen Parkmöglichkeiten sind zwar dürftig (5 Stellplätze vor dem Hotel) - aber da öffentliches Parken über der Straße auch möglich ist, war das eher kein Problem.

Die Zimmer waren gefühlt Kleiner als angegeben (mit der Veranda schon mitgerechnet). Die angegebene Schallisolierung konnten wir nicht bestätigen - wir konnten die Nachbaren bei allen Tätigkeiten beiwohnen (sowohl am Zimmer wie auch auf der Veranda). Die Minibar war leer (außer zwei ungekühlte "Willkommens"-Wasser) - und das Kühlgerät war nicht in der Lage auch nur eine Flasche zu kühlen. Das kostenfreie WIFI war meistens in Ordnung - nur das es vor dem letzten Tag dann für 24h den Geist aufgegeben hat. Das Frühstück entsprach den Mindestanforderungen - keine Spezialitäten, kein Kaffee zuviel (dem man leider nachlaufen musste). Nicht von den Werbetexten täuschen lassen - Stand 09/2023 hat dieses Hotel weder ein Restaurant noch eine Bar die die Bezeichnung "Music Bar" auch nur verdient (man bekommt auf Anfrage beim Personal theoretisch Getränke ausgehändigt). Somit ist die hauseigene Terasse eher zum Raucherplatz umfunktioniert worden. Im allgemeinen ist das Hotel aber sehr heruntergekommen. Kleidermotten und Schaben waren vorzufinden - ebenso waren Betten und Vorgänge beschädigt. Die "Begrünung" der Veranda war auch nicht mehr existent. Auch die allgemeinen Bereiche sind in die Jahre gekommen und ungepflegt sowie ungewartet. Das Personal an sich spricht nur Kroatisch - zumindest scheint der Hotelmanager des Englisch/Deutsch mächtig zu sein um eine gewisse Kommunikation zu ermöglichen.
