It was close to the beach, the breakfast options has a large selection of products although I would have preferred traditional bacon rather than the Croatian version.

The hotel has a 4* rating but I would say it was more of a 3* rating hotel. I understand that its an old hotel but the the rennovation work they completed is beyond substandard. Also, my room was located above the building's laundry so from 5:00am the banding from below awoke me and I couldn't sleep any further. Also, all night we could hear water dropping from a height onto a tin surface outside despite there not being any rain during our stay.

Really nice staff - all of them. The food quality was great. A big selection at dinner (meat, fish, vegetarian) and also at breakfast. The room was clean and cosy. The hotel is at nice location. You can walk to Umag center (cca 30min). There is also a turistic train (4€ per ride/adult). We stayed only one night but it was a really nice visit.

The room was spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

Lots of noisy guests all through the night. No water boiler in the room for tea. Mini fridge was not working properly. Considering the price, I would have expected better.

Overall a very enjoyable stay and the employees were super nice.

Due to having some movement restrictions, I made a request when making a reservation to be assigned a room that is easily available and the hotel obliged which made my stay that much more comfortable. Also, all the employees in the hotel were incredibly nice and helpful. Special thanks to reception clerk Mr. Mario for going the extra mile and speaking our local language. The location is also great, practically on the beach. We have very nice memories of our stay at this hotel.

The drain in the shower was a bit clogged so water was slow to drain when taking a shower. Also considering we stayed in Istria in the summer, there was suprisingly scarce breakfast options of fresh fruits.

Residence has many activities to do, it is especially confortable for those with children and familty

Waiters literally kicks you out from the restaurant at 9pm sharp, food is not so great, it is difficult to find a good place on the beach as people put their stuff early in the morning and then go doing other things

short but relaxing stay

Umag residence is in an amazing location, close to the blue sea and in the middle of a mediterranean bush. The hotel was offering half board for a symbolic price of 10€ per day per room. Food was varied and of sufficient good quality for that price

the roof of our terrace was hosting several swallow nests. It was lovely to see the swallows flying to feed the baby swallows. Unfortunately our terrace was full of excrements, no way to hang out our towels

Everything was very good. Staff, food, cleaning, perfect location for walking and cycling.

The dinner îs too late în the evening and after few days one shall run out of meals combination. The tables outside, on the terace, are always rezerve, even it is not possible to make a rezervation!!!
