It was a good experience

The location of this place is very nice & it’s near the city center. There’s a small park & river just across the building and it’s very nice! Overall the property is clean (although there is some flaw in the room). Andrea, the host, is pretty communicative and helpful.

At first we’re kinda confused on where the door is located because there is no clear sign or building number near the door. But thankfully there’s a neighbor of the building that helped us figure it out. But without their help, I don’t know how i’m going to figure it out. There is no spare trash bag in the property, and since we stayed there for four days, I actually think we need extra trash bags. Also they did prepare a kettle for us to use, but when we open it the kettle is dirty and full of dust so we need to clean it by ourselves. I think they need to pay attention more to the cleaning.

Very small and not suitable for family of 5 - maybe small kids. No sleep with night club below.

Location was great and walking distance to Old Town and Castle. Problem is that it apartment is on top of night club. Load noise and people from 12pm till 4 am every night.

No facilities in apartment. One small bedroom, second room very small with 3 beds but no space to put luggage. Only a kettle - nothing else. Not allowed to cook in apartment. Apartment on top of night club starting12pm and only close at 4am. No chance of sleep - either join the club or choose different apartment. Was asked for extra services on top of what Bookings.com charged.

The location was the only thing we somewhat liked about this booking.

We couldn't get to the keys. There was no building code. We had to wait for some stranger to open the door, we might have been locked out. The wifi password we were given was not correct. The pictures and description made it sound like it was 2 rooms. It was not, it was all crammed into one room. There were no toiletries. There were no extra towels. The kettle was dirty. The beds were very hard. UPDATE: Now the property (or someone who gained my information from this booking) is trying to scam me out of 80+€ by messaging me on WhatsApp. Do not book this hotel. Why does booking.com even list these scam properties?!?!

Great location, nice apartment, terrible check in

Fantastic location

Check in was insanely difficult. It took 20 minutes to get the lockbox outside open and then another 45 minutes to get the inside door open, and there were 4 adults trying. When I mentioned it all I was told was “the housekeepers got in today”. No assistance offered.

Location is very convenient as far as the distance from city centre is concerned.

Many things: 1. It is not a hotel. It is an apartment. Nobody in their senses would call it a four star hotel. It is a complete eyewash and I feel cheated by the property owner and Booking.com too. We could not locate the property initially. The photo shared is of an entire building block. It looks like a big hotel. Don’t get attracted by it. 2. The room was not ready by afternoon. The owner said it is written that room will be ready by 4 pm (and we need to vacate by 10 am the next morning). Anyway, we keep our luggage and went for lunch and stroll. When back at 5 pm room was not ready. Cleaning was underway. So we went for a boat ride and all and finally by 7 we could find it ready! 3. You don’t get any soap, shower gel, shampoo. A bath towel and one small towel is all you get. 4. No cupboards, hangars 5. The room (kings suite - my foot) is on first floor. Right beneath is a night club. We were disturbed by loud noises, screaming, college kids smoking and throwing things around. 6. No chairs except a small dining table and wooden chairs. One needs to see TV from bed only. 7. And on the top of it you pay platinum price something like > €300. I believe I could have booked a room at Sacher in which Dalai Lama or Tom Hanks stayed at that price. No breakfast nothing.

The view and the location

"Hello. I found the mention of a washing machine First floor is lockerbox 7a with code xxxx. Washing room with washing machine and dryer has the code xxxx. 1. No idea where the "washing room" is. 2. Keys on the first floor. We had to wait for someone to come in to let us in as there was no way to open the building entrance door. 3. No coffee, no tea, no soap in the shower, no fridge. An "apartment" is more than a bed and a bath. (The rooms were nice but facilities very lacking) " Also. The photos are of 2 or 3 separate apartments so are very misleading. There is no kitchen, no tap, no sofa. You can only watch TV sitting on the bed. So don't think you can spend any time relaxing in the room. Also, there is a nightclub downstairs and it is noisy until 3 am. I do not give poor reviews unless they are warranted. Then 25 euros on top for cleaning the towels and linen when they have not even provided 1 tea bag or instant coffee. There are many better apartments in Salzburg. .

Booking.com stated it would have a few more amenities than they actually had. There was no washer/dryer and no way to warm food. The layout worked but not ideal for sitting or visiting within the apartment with kids asleep in same room.

What we encountered during our recent stay constitutes a clear breach of the promises and features advertised on your platform for the property in question. Below is a summary of the issues we faced: 1. Misleading Information About Parking: One of the primary reasons for choosing this property was the advertised availability of a parking space. However, we were surprised to discover that the parking facility was located at least a 10-minute walk from the apartment—an important detail that was not mentioned in the listing. 2. Absence of a Washing Machine as Advertised: The listing stated that a washing machine was available in the apartment. This was completely inaccurate. When we inquired, we were told it was broken and in need of repair—proving that the information was misleading from the start. 3. Poor Check-In Experience: Although the self-check-in process itself was not an issue, we found no parking card in the designated mailbox upon arrival. This forced me to temporarily park on the street with my family, which includes a child with special needs, after a four-hour drive. When I contacted the responsible host, she seemed unaware of the situation. After a delay—and after I had already received a parking fine—I was asked to go to a parking office 10 minutes away to purchase a one-month parking card. I refused, stating that this was not my fault. Eventually, after persistent follow-up, I was guided via WhatsApp to use a temporary ticket, with the promise that the original parking card would be delivered within the hour. However, it did not arrive until the next day and was mistakenly placed in another apartment’s mailbox. 4.

Location is fantastic!

Keys were exactly where we were told to find them. Easy to get in. Location is fantastic. Super close to old town and can walk everywhere.

The apartment listing stated it would have a washing machine which it didn't. Emailed the owner and Booking.com and received no explanation or answer from either. Booked the property with the knowledge we could do our laundry in the middle of a long trip. There isn't a full kitchen. Had to use bathroom sink to do dishes.
