Comfortable and convenient

Heated bathroom floor, wash essentials (no body lotion tho), comfortable bed and pillows, spacious, utensils, coffee machine, cleanliness, location in between train station and old town which means we can walk from train and walk to old town. No fuss check in, luggage storage, free laundry, nice basement, we played chess there. Overall happy with apartment!

Highly recommend

Easy comms via whatsapp and very quick response even though we arrived close to midnight and had some trouble with one of the passcodes. Easy walk to the old town, train station, supermarkets and many shops and cafes. Just a stone’s throw away from Mirabell gardens and a small Christmas market

2 out of 3 washing machines were down and it took longer than expected to have it fixed. One of the weeks where many guests were washing clothes. Dryer didn’t see to dry clothes very well. Prior to our stay we were informed that all cooking facilities including microwave had to be removed due to fire safety. We chose to still stay on as it was too late to make a change- would have been a bonus if the accommodation offered a slight discount or provided extra amenities of sorts as a way of making up for the unexpected change in facilities offered.

Comfortable rooms in excellent location.

Location was excellent. Short walk into the centre, next door to the Mirabell Gardens. Comfortable, clean rooms, quiet, good internet and spacious rooms.

Having no proper reception proved a little awkward with the check in and answers to any enquiries were inconsistent. The ‘kitchen’ doesn’t allow you to heat or cook any food.

Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Would happily come back.

The location is convenient, close to the train station as well as bus and tram stops. The interior is very modern and stylish, and the room was spacious with two air conditioners, which was a big plus. The body wash, shampoo, and hand wash smell amazing—you can even buy them from the hotel. The hotel manager was genuinely friendly and helpful, he even gave me a small bonus, which was a lovely gesture.

No staff. I am not a fan of this style of hotel, as I do believe it to be a safety concern esp when traveling with children. Small kitchen was nice but no way to heat up food.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Salzburg!

Master Mirabell is an excellent choice if you’re seeking apartment accommodation in the heart of Salzburg! Hosts were efficient and provided all information ahead of check-in. Communal basement available to store luggage safely. Bedrooms are warm and comfortable, equipped with everything you need for your stay. Fridge, kettle, and iron are provided. Central location perfect for taking the Sound of Music tour or simply exploring Salzburg. There is a nice cafe across the street to grab coffee and bagels. Easy to get to and from the airport via public transport.

Awesome & Amazing

Pls convey our heartfelt appreciation to the team and especially Borja. We had some complications checking into our Vienna hotel & he so patiently / kindly went through the process with us, to the extent of giving us his personal number in case we face problems later on. The stay was also memorable as its well-kept, well-located, equipped with washing facilities, umbrellas Which was useful when it rained, locker for early/ late check out & Support from the staff was super prompt!

Lovely hotel, well equipped and clean.

We booked this hotel last minute as we had a change of plans - and it was beautiful! Lovely room, very clean, spacious and well equipped. The check in process was so easy, communication was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s after a nice, clean room that’s fairly central to Salzburg, whilst still being super close to the train station!

Highly recommend, excellent communication!

We loved our stay at Master Mirabel: - the location is excellent, ten minutes walk from the train station, fifteen minutes leasurly walk to the heart of city. Supermarket, bus stop, parking, coffee shops are within five minutes walk. - the communication with the team Master is fantastic: all of my messages were answered straight away, all of the help I needed with extension of our stay , was accommodated without hesitation. The team let us stay in the same room, saving lots of time for room transfer etc. The housekeeping team is very polite, effective and non invasive. We loved it so much, we extended our stay! - kitchen facilities are complete, olive oil, salt, sugar, coffee pods and teabags - lots of spare. Kitchen towel, paper towels, new sponge and what is more important - unscratched teflon frying pan ( never as good in other hotels we have stayed!). - our room (401) facing the inner yard, therefore it is always quiet and peaceful. - bathroom has an underfloor heating! Loved it. - beds are clean and comfortable. I would stay again (and I will) without hesitation! Thank you, team Master!

Strongly recommendable!

Far beyond the spacious room and well equipped kitchenette, Mirabell offers in-room safe, ironing board, no-time hassle free check in/out, self service laundry room, lockers for luggage after check out, free umbrellas at the main door, and other commodities that made our stay really enjoyable. The place is far better than the many other places we, a family of 4, have rented before. 100% recommendable!

Incredible property that we'd definitely stay at again and highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at master Mirabell. The room had a great kitchenette, beautiful decor and very comfortable beds. The property had excellent facilities including lots of shared spaces - indoors and outdoors lounge areas and a shared laundry. Great location - easy walk to Salzburg HBF and the city centre. Very close to Mirabell Palace and Gardens.

Best no key stay in Salzburg

At Mirabell, so nice! And close to many Salzburg attractions. We also liked that room had basic cooking features, which we didn’t use but would be great for a future visit.

Bus stop for northbound buses is 2 blocks south of hotel entrance which usually is great but we had heavy luggage this trip

Best of all worlds

Comfortable and practical. Someone intelligently combined the best aspects of a good hotel (professional and efficient staff) + vacation apartment (comfortable and spacious apartment suites with modern furnishings) + a hostel (laundry facilities, a guest pantry with basics like fresh towels/ extra toilet paper/ tissues/ tea/ olive oil, salt, and friendly staff). No front desk, but remote assistance is helpful and quick. Location is good: near Mirabell and the train station and all city bus lines.

I suggest offering a night-light in the bathroom. If someone uses the bathroom at night, he wakes up the other person in the bedroom because the en suite bathroom door is translucent glass.

It was not very clean, the corridors smelled bad. The AC initially was not working properly and the lack of staff on site meant we went back and forth on the WhatsApp messages to no avail.

Fabulous property near Salzburg centre

This apartment had excellent staff contact, who were very helpful about any queries. It had modern, clean decor, comfy beds and a good location near the centre of Salzburg.

It would have been nice to have a small two seater sofa instead of one armchair, as we didn't both have somewhere comfy to sit in the living room.

Standard as a mix betwen youth-hostel and motel.

No personel to fix the problems with our booking, so 4 people had to skeep in bedsheets for two. Tables not clean, no cleaning under furnitures e.t.c. The AC did not function, no fridge and the bathroom was starting to degrade.

Almost perfect, but could be a 10

Excellent location. Good communication. Very clean. Everything we needed in the cupboards. Really nice shower room with plenty of toiletries and towels. The air conditioning was amazing, with outdoor temperatures of 29 degrees. A really lovely stay.

The lounge area had no comfortable seating. Really wanted a nice sofa to lounge on and read my book, and also for us just to relax on together. Could put the table and chairs under the tv, then a sofa would fit. Also had trouble finding the roof terrace. Was told to go to the top floor and the door was there leading to the terrace. We went up and down 4 times but could not find the door. Very disappointed. Maybe need a sign pointing in the right direction, as having gone back over other reviews, we were not the only ones that couldn't find it.

Nice accommodation ruined by excessive and unacceptable late night noise.

The noise from surrounding apartments - slamming doors and what sounded like someone dragging furniture and stomping around all night above our bedroom. We have an 18 month old, so worrying whether this would wake him up made our stay very stressful. I tried complaining to Master Mirabell using their WhatsApp chat (on which that had previously been very responsive), but my message was ignored. Very disappointing. The trouble with Master Mirabell is that while the apartments are Ok, you have no control over the other residents in the block.

Everything, Check in was very smooth even though there was no staff. Excellent location. There was a bus stop in front of master Mirabell, so I could take a bus easily. Enough kitchen stuff. Very clean
