About this apartment rental
Apartment 'Church Hill' is situated at the foot of the Mönchsberg, only a few minutes from the banks of the River Salzach. It offers picture book views towards the Old Town with dome, palace and fortress. It is a second floor apartment in a renovated 16th century townhouse (with lift) in one of the oldest parts of the city. Next to it is the old Parish Church of Muelln and the Augustiner monastery turned brewery with its unique historical beer hall and the best beergarden in town.
1130 sq ft. Apartment 'Church Hill' has two very large bedrooms with comfortable boxspring beds, a fully equipped built-in kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, oven with ceran field, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster etc. and a 320 sq ft living/dining room with satellite tv, hifi stereo, WiFi, remote control lighting and seating for four. The bathroom offers a tub with shower as well as a bidet and there is a separate WC.
The apartment has a triple aspect with eleven (!) windows and is therefore not only spacious, but also very light and bright.
Restaurants and shopping facilities are just around the corner and so is the bus stop and the next train station so that you do not need a car to explore Salzburg and its vicinity. For those who come by car there is a large (and safe) car park behind the Augustiner brewery just 3 minutes away.

Exceptional property in Salzburg Mulln offering ample space for a family of 4 in a highly convenient and accessible location to the Old Town and the main attractions and sites of Salzburg. The apartment is located on a busier than expected street front but provides quick access to Salzburg's historic core, the Monchsberg Trail Walk, Augustiner Braustubl, and bike and walking trails alongside and over the river. Arrival and check-in were seamless given the apartment's location to the train stop and in-person property manager. A bakery and grocery store down the main road provide convenience for any eating in one wishes to do. The only issue we faced during our stay was a lack of air conditioning; our time in Salzburg was one of the hottest weeks in years, and required us to have windows open to achieve any cross breeze and relief. Overall this is a fantastic property and one that I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to experience the cultural aspects that Salzburg has to offer.

This was a large and delightful property well located. It is within walking distance to the river and a short walk to town. Parking is a challenge, however. There’s only street parking or a fairly short walk to a parking lot. TIP: the parking lot charges 26 a day but if you get a beer or food from the attached restaurant, they will validate the parking so it’s free. When you’re unloading and loading your luggage it’s a bit inconvenient, but we made it work. The hostess was very kind and informative and accommodated us when we wanted to check in early. She recommended a restaurant just down the street and it had the best bratwurst I’ve ever had!

We had such a terrific stay in Salzburg! The apartment is even better in person — and despite our unfortunate rainy and gray weather, the apartment was somehow still light and bright. We loved it!Communication with the hosts as well as Mrs. Karmann (the receptionist) was easy, and we appreciated that Mrs. Karmann met us for check in a little later as our train was delayed. (Please note there is a per person per day tourist tax/fee to be paid upon arrival.)The location was perfect — we walked everywhere and it was so easy to get into town. We also took advantage of loads of great things right in the neighborhood — a delicious pastry shop just down the street, the famous beer hall directly across, and a delicious Austrian restaurant steps from the apartment. There’s also a supermarket within walking distance. We enjoyed taking walks each morning and admiring the spectacular Salzburg views. We hope to come back to magical Salzburg and if so, we would love to stay at your lovely apartment again. Thank you for opening your home to us!
