Location and cleanliness of the apartment was exceptional. Beds were comfortable. Coffee machine with pods was a very nice amenity.

No soap provided for the shower, heating was on very high in winter which made it difficult to sleep, windows can’t be open all night on this street due to early morning noise of the famous Getreidegasse. Motion activated lighting in hall and bathroom was annoying when sharing the studio with your children, you risk waking them up at night when they are trying to sleep.

Clean and well-equipped apartment in a great location!

Great location - on the main shopping street of Salzburg Old Town. Convenient and walkable to most attractions. Kitchen is well-equipped if you choose to self-cater. As the apartment is on the main pedestrian shopping street, it can get little noisy. However, we find that shutting the windows would block off most of the noise, hence not an issue for us. Apartment is on upper floor of an old historic building, there is no elevator - we are aware of this (prior to booking) and hence not an issue. We were able to carry our bags up the stairs. Just a friendly note for travellers with mobility issues.

not very happy. but at least the location is good. very convenient.

the location is great

the place doesn’t look like on the pictures. we booked two bedrooms, yet the place can be barely called one bedroom. the space is too tiny for the price, not enough toilet paper supplied. no paper towels in the kitchen. the hot water pot was broken. one of us almost burned herself. the sink was leaking underneath the place wasn’t ready by checkin time on the listing and we had to wandering around in the rain for 2hrs.

Verry, verry good app in 600 years old home. Absolut centrum Old Town. The app is 3 minutes walk from the parking. But taxi will take you right to the entrance. You dont need cars all the time. Better than hotels.

The property’s location was excellent. Close to everything in Old Town. The apartment perfectly fit our needs. I also appreciated that the Host Martina greeted us in person and made sure we had everything we needed and went over the apartment with us.

Wonderful place to stay in order to enjoy Salzburg fully!

Large apartment and its location was superb! Martina was a great communicator and responded quickly. It was extra nice to have coffee supplied. The bed was comfortable.

If we had a fan, we wouldn’t have had to use the air conditioner, do suggest providing a fan.

Convenient and chick

The location and the arrangement of the apartment set me in the time when Mozart was living in the alley. Shopping is easy to do.

The house owns the odor of an ancient building and the street noise required some time to get used to.

The perfect stay-- can I move into this apartment permanently please???

I cannot even begin to express how amazing our stay here was! My first impression when arriving was "wow, this is literally the perfect location". Bonus points that there was an amazing ice cream shop literally next to the stairwell which my 5 year old loved! The host met us as soon as we arrived and was so friendly and accommodating it felt like making an instant friend. She had written out amazing recommendations for not only restaurants, but the best grocery stores and even pharmacies and emergency numbers which was so thoughtful. The apartment itself was an easy walk up a couple flights of steps. It was quieter than I was expecting in such a lively area! We rarely heard neighbors (I think we might have heard footsteps one time). Everything was within a short walk.. incredible cafes, restaurants, shops. It rained almost every day that we were there but we could easily get everything we needed without having to walk too far and there were tons and tons of indoor kids activities close by (toy museum and the nature/science museum were huge hits). I'm almost in tears writing this review because we felt so at home and so comfortable at this property that leaving hurt. We did a week in Como, a week in Zurich, a few days in Munich and a couple days in Dublin and this was by far our favorite stay. Everything was so perfect I miss it so much.

Perfect location in Salzburg's old city

Beautifully renovated apartment, perfect location in the Innere Stadt; walking distance to bus stops, the river paths, restaurants/ coffee shops in the new and old city, museums and the schloss. All required facilitities including washing machine and dryer and very comfortable beds. Martina was an excellent host, punctual with great communication and information about the area. If we ever come back we will stay here again.

I loved Salzburg and loved the location of the apartment.

It was clean and functional. The location was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped.

It didn’t look anything like the picture above . There wasn’t much space for clothes . The duvet was a small single duvet and very thin , it felt strange on a double bed , even if I was a single person

Wonderful stay in a great location in a truly beautiful city!

Location was brilliant, right on the main pedestrian street in the old town and within easy walking distance of all the main city attractions, including the Christmas Markets. Property was in an old building up two flights of stairs, but was really well maintained, spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Given the location was on the main pedestrian street, it was also very quiet. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was beautifully done. We loved our stay!

Climbing up two flights of stairs could be a problem for some, particularly getting suitcases up and down, but it’s what you would expect given the age of the building and was a small price to pay for the fabulous location. The kitchen was very compact with no microwave which again could be a problem for some if you wanted to cook meals, but we didn’t so it really was not an issue for us.

The apartment is in a superb location right on the main pedestrian street. Beautifully renovated in a heritage building it had everything a guest could need. Great kitchen facilities, new bathroom and very comfy bed. The host was super responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend!

Best stay I’ve ever had!

The stay was more then excellent! The Appartment was the best I’ve ever booked, and I travel a lot and prefer due to the space fully equipped flats. The bathroom with walk in shower was brand new, I would say luxurious. Moreover, the beds were super comfortable and spacious. Besides that the flair of the building from 1425 is like feeling the historic Charme of Salzburg. I felt immediately in love from the Charme and warm atmosphere of the Appartment and building. Martina waited for us for the check in, but there is also a key safe. We checked in earlier without any extra charge. That was very friendly! Fully equipped small kitchenette and great view to a small garden in a silent surrounding, once you leave the Appartment you are in the heart of Salzburg the so called Getreidegasse! It was a great, memorable stay! We definitely come back soon! THANKS

Location! This apartment is in the very heart of Salzburg Old Town, for anyone visiting Salzburg you can’t stay at a better place. We stayed in Beatrix and everything was beautifully set up. Your host Martina is so kind, she was flexible with an earlier check in and really helped us feel at home. Highly recommend

Perfect place for Salzburg

The Best place for visit Salzburg, in the heart of the city, very easy to walk every place which you want to see. Room was clean and enough decorated , kitchen is good for long stay. Martina was very helpful and interested always , very nice surprise was in the refrigerator when we arrived:) strongly recommended!

It was a nice apartment in a great location with an accommodating host.

Location excellent, right in the Old Town which is what we wanted, many sights and restaurants!! The cleaning lady happened to be there and took my key I got from the lock box and gave me the big key. She did not speak English and what she was trying to convey was not really understood by the guest. The kitchen was well stocked. The bath towels were big, however there were no hand towels for the bathroom. The air conditioning in the main room was great.

The number 1 Major Issue is the number of steps(Many!) to get to the apartment. No elevator. This needs to be mentioned, especially if the renter/guest has a big suitcase. The bedroom with the door did not have air conditioning. It got quite warm with the door closed. I was very concerned with getting in and out of the tub/shower since it was so deep. There needs to be a step or something on the outside of the tub. Someone is going to slip/fall. It's an accident waiting to happen. The big bed made lots of noise and was lumpy on one side. It would be nice to have access to an iron/ironing board. In response to the host's comments - I knew there was no elevator, however, the number of steps( 2 flights) was not mentioned. We also stayed at Hotel Elefant for 1 night which is located at 1 Getreidegasse and it does have an elevator which we used. Lastly, we did leave the bedroom window open at night, but the noise from the restaurant customers in the courtyard below was very loud, thus causing us to close it. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but we wanted to correct some misinformation.

fantastic location, right in the Getreidegasse and walking distance from everything, and on the same street as Mozarts house. There couldn’t be a better location. apartment was clean and comfortable. it is set in an older building so, as you would expect in an older building, it’s not as modern as something new. be prepared, there is no lift, so you are walking your luggage up several flights of stairs. It is also in a pedestrian district, so you cannot drive near the apartment and unload your luggage. however, the location makes up for all of that, because once you are settled, you are in a perfect spot.
