On arrival, reception was not staffed, I had to seek staff out in a restuarant with the lights off. The whole time I had no internet, a call to reception said" I had to book the internet" - which is nonsense. I went into my office in Town to use my company internet. Having left my key to leave, I had to return to get the key to let me back into the Hotel garage

Very nice old-school German hotel. Don't expect a modern American-style kitchenette or even an elevator. Room was nice and breakfast every morning was stellar. The location is excellent.

Room 27 was remarkable value ... My room had replica Sunflower picture by Vincent Van Goth, plus 2 historic pictures of Blankeneser Breakfast was very good.

Check in was lousy , unfriendly. We got a room to the street front, very noisy. Asked to change to another room, was told because we booked with Expedia , not possible. Room was dirty , and bathroom gadgets, drain plug, shower door not closing , all drawers from cabinets not working. Room has no safe, shower to small to turn around, and had to walk into the bathroom to dry. Room was totally run down !!! Room was dark , very small windows. We stayed for 3 weeks, 1 or two days was enough. Worst hotel we had on our 2 month trip.

Very friendly hotel and easy to reach from central station or airport. Rooms are tidy and of very good size. Staid now my third time there and very pleasant, restaurant and pricing very good value. Will chose it for my next trip as ideal location to small market and walking routes along the elbe River.

I needed a hotel close to the Bundeswehr Leadership Academy to visit my son. Hotel Behrmann was a perfect choice, less than 1km away from the main entrance. It is a very nice hotel with great breakfast, a good restaurant, and included parking garage. The rooms are clean and the personnel friendly. The S-Bahn station is in short walking distance, so the center of Hamburg is only a short train ride away. Overall a pleasant stay in a very nice area and perfect for my purpose.
