    Had a fabulous stay at Moxy Chester for my birthday weekend. When we arrived had a warm welcome and even though we were a few hours early our room was ready. Fab room overlooking the canal with all the amenities. Great location just a 10 min walk along the canal into the city centre. Beds were so comfortable. We will be returning and thank you all.

    We stayed as a couple for five nights. We didn’t realize the hotel is more like a hostile or Airbnb. The good points The bed as others have said was wonderful as were the blackout curtains, and it was fairly quiet The bad points The bathroom was a little bit small There was absolutely nowhere to put your clothing or other articles apart from four hangers to hang up for items. Our room was meant to have a fridge and coffee maker as we had a Moxie Lookout room. We did manage to get both after complaining that we didn’t have it we were moved to another room. However, the fridge was what I would call a beer fridge. You could hardly get anything in it. It was so small the facilities well there wasn’t any that we could see the supposed to grab and go they said they don’t have anymore for food on the move. We didn’t have breakfast there, but he didn’t look very much a very tiny buffet for 13 pounds each would I stay there again definitely not but as I said, if you’re staying just for one night or possibly two, then it’s probably worth it as it was not as expensive as other hotels in the area
