Arrived before check-in was official open, but this wasn't a problem, we were given our room early. Room had lovely views over the harbour and was spacious. Lots of restaurants in the area. Pleasant walk to the beach. Used the bar in the evening with friends, great service but not much atmosphere. Hotel is dog friendly, we will certainly use again.

Visited on Bastille weekend. No hot water and very little cold water for the entire length of our stay (4days 3 nights) Staff polite and friendly but unable to rectify the issue. Lack of water also meant no catering but coffee was available. Apparently this is not an unusual occurrence.

My 4th visit and the renovations fhey have carried out over the last couple of years have really improved the place. One small point, large, newly renovated bathroom, but it was almost impoosdible to use toilet as has been so badley postioned by plumber. Needs moving. Room 409. Free roadside parking out front

This is a great place to stay when coming from the ferry. We were foot passengers and picking up a car at 5:00 on a bank holiday. We had a sea view which looked at the ferries going by and many fishing boats. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are really rundown, the shower barely worked and there was a patched leak in the ceiling. The location is great and everyone around the staff is lovely but the facility really needs an overhaul.

This property is a short walk to most everything. The staff is very friendly and the property was clean. I would recommend earplugs as the traffic is very loud and the walls are a little thin and I could hear the neighbors using the bathroom.

Check in was swift and easy, the man on reception was cheerful and helpful. Room was comfy and clean but a little dated. My main complain is the shower, it was a lacklustre dribble and took considerable time to wash. Unfortunately it was nearly midnight and I was up early the next day otherwise I’d have complained sooner, on checkout I informed the lady on reception but she either didn’t understand me very well or didn’t care. Other than that pleasant stay.

Good sized family room with 2 double beds. Very clean and smart. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks available at the bar. We didn't have breakfast, but it is on offer, with kids eating free per paying adult. A short walk away was a selection of restaurants for dinner. There appeared to be a range to suit all budgets/tastes, but we went cheap and cheerful at Pizza Royal (which I'd recommend). The car ferry terminal was only a 5-10 minute drive away, so the hotel was great for our overnight stay. To note, secure parking is available at £12/night. However, plentiful, free on-road parking right outside the hotel. Area felt safe (as it can be) to leave our car outside. We would definitely use this hotel again.
