We were upgraded to suite as there was an issue with the family room we had booked.
My husband’s single room was too hot as he could not adjust the radiator.

The hotel is very central to Calais and close to bus and train station. Ideal base for exploring the area. Impressive entrance hall reception and bar, and beautiful restaurant serving an incredible breakfast! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and airy. Ample space for two adults and a teenager.
The toilet seat was broken which was annoying. Especially in the middle of the night! The shower was hand held. Could do with being attached to the wall and above the bath.

Great Location, suited me as it is reminiscent of a style long gone, leather wing back chairs, warm carpets, well stocked bar, good staff service and as always, friendly.
Bed was a a little hard for me and the toilet seat was very close to the wall. If over 2m then your knees will touch the wall! However, I managed and would stay again.
