Hotel was in a good location for getting to LeShuttle and ferry terminal Restaurant next door which served good meals and drinks at reasonable prices. Fridge in room. Microwave if needed

The toilet in the bedroom was very small. Kitchenette didn't have any crockery, cutlery or pans.

Good location, clean overpriced breakfast don’t order unless you want to be disappointed!

The location and the cleanliness was good.

Paid for breakfast for a set time, we arrived the that time to find no cooked breakfast and no hot drinks, asked for bacon and eggs only got eggs still waiting on the bacon which we didn’t get. Was told hot water would be ready in 10 mins however 20 mins later was only like warm, I had to get kettle from the room to boil water which was then questioned about from staff, I explained I had a set time for breakfast which was booked and a ferry to catch waiting 20 mins and still no hot water was in acceptable. No apology given and this cot me over 40 euro for the breakfast which we didn’t fully receive. Very disappointing and a very expensive breakfast for a yogurt and piece of toast.

We enjoyed the location, but the room needs some updating and better mattresses.

The location was perfect. We went for a walk on the beach a couple of times, drove to get pizza and bring it back, and it was an easy trip to the ferry which was our purpose for being in Calais. For what we were in the area for and the length of our 2-night stay, it did the job. But...

The main mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. It was hard and the frame didn't feel very strong. My husband woke up sore both mornings we were there, and I didn't sleep very well at all. There were a lot of repairs needed in the room. If we were to return to the Calais area, I think we would look for an alternative.

Great view and mega value for money

The mega plus here was a room with a sea view and we enjoyed watching the ferries come in and out. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, nice bar and restaurant next door. Nothing special but working on premise of comfort and a good night’s sleep 10/10.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They had not made up the single beds and my sister and I didn't want to share a double bed. They came with the bedding and then gave us both free breakfast the next day. Prime location right by the beach. Bus stops nearby to get into town.

Very dim lighting in main room. Poor for reading later in the day. Wall light not wired in? It clearly states in a number of places that no prepayment was required. When we arrived the money had already been taking which resulted in my bank charging me £7.92 for a foreign transaction that I did not want or expect to make. If they say no payment will be taken before arrival then that is what it should be. Not at all pleased with the charge

Great location

The location was great and easy to find with parking too, was reasonably price, we arrived after 11 and we were given clear instructions how to get in and find our rooms! Loved the sea view when I woke up the next morning

Brilliant thank you for a great stay

Stayed before we have a puppy now they welcomed us all and took care of her. The staff are great lots of parking restaurants next door and only 20 meters to beach. Please remember this is a budget hotel but a 5 star budget hotel.

Great for a short stay

We loved the location in front of a long promenade by the beach. Free parking. Working fridge, kettle and microwave. Free WiFi. The bed was hard and extremely comfortable

On the smaller side and a wee bit cramped due to extra bunk beds. We akso had to come prepared with cutlery and crockery, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. The two small towels were threadbare but clean. Pity the TV had only french channels and not a single one for international news.

Lovely spacious room with superb view of the sea and promenade. Kitchenette very cute with microwave, kettle and fridge. Very accommodating for our large dog - who was able to have short walks behind the carpark. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The bed was so comfortable I noted down the name of the manufacturer! Will certainly stay there again next time we take the Euroshuttle, as the terminal is located just a couple of miles down the road and the hotel, situated on the Calais promenade, is perfect for walks after hours on the motorway.

Staff on reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok, it had a tv, small kitchen, microwave, table and chairs and kettle. Accommodation was near to the sea, plenty of parking and great to get to and from the eurotunnel.

There were guests in the hotel who were rather noisy, the walls seemed rather thin!
