The location
The elevators didn’t work to go to the 8th floor, the room had a weird smell and had to leave a window open through out the night and the main entrance was close. I stayed out for like 20 min trying to get in but the QR code nor my card was working. I had to call the hotel to have someone to open the door.

Good value for money in a very good location
Super well located. Close to the train station and city centre. Clean and excellent value for money.
Several of the bulbs in our bedroom were dead. We only stayed one night and I suppose that if we had stayed longer and had asked for them to be fixed the hotel would have replaced them. Nonetheless it was a bit frustrating to be in a dark room as several bulbs were gone. You would expect the cleaning staff to check everything is working…the WiFi ( which is free 😁) was also very very slow!

Great location, comfortable bed, good wifi and nice breakfast!
Location is a couple of minutes walking distance to Lausanne Train station, but it is located up in a slope. Comfortable bed, good wifi and breakfast. There is a bathtub and good water pressure.
The bath towels are aged.

The room has the toilet behind the bed, and not enclosed enough. I had to use the bathroom in the lobby.

Left with back pains, dirty feet, angry, frustrated and amazed how out of date, rude, uneducated, barely speaking a bus stop English, the entire staff was. Zero service! I will be submitting an official complaint to the upper management after this,for the abuse and stress me and my mother at the age of 70 received. The hotel staff is self entitled, they lock the premises doors and will not serve you in the inner yard garden of the hotel, or the farther reaches of the hotel area, because and I quote "It is too cold for us to bring you your order outside". Zero effort on making the guests feel welcome, being arrogant and stressing out a 70 year old lady, because she wanted to take her glass of wine in the hotel garden and not drink it in bar area. The bartender was Joseph at Alpha hotel Lousanne Switzerland along side with his colleague Sintia. Iv had far better experiences in hostels and mountain cottages then in this joke of a hotel! For all of you that bothered reading so far, he is a short list of all the issues:
1. Burnt and warn out furniture in the hotel rooms
2. Clean up service doesn't show regularly at the start of the day( had to wait half of the day for new towels)
3. Room access plastic cards regularly deactivate ( had to reactivate it 3 out of 3 days we were there)
4. No 'one time use" hotel slippers provided ,u gotta walk bare foot in the room
5. You can't have an open tab on your hotel room reservation!
6. If you order anything you gotta pay on the spot regardless if you are still in the premises, meaning you order 3 beers, you will pay 3 times, instead of a total bill, when you leave! What a joke!
7. Staff locks the doors to the garden area of the hotel!
8. Staff won't serve you in the garden area
9. Unprofessional, lazy, slow and unhelpful staff all round!
10. Zero assistance even when asking for management on the spot, while referring to feedback/complaint cards found in your room, p.

Amazing stay!!!!
I stayed at the Alpha Hotel for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient. The lobby is functional and welcoming, a great spot to relax with your laptop or catch up with friends. The room was both stylish and comfortable, with an exceptionally cozy bed that gave me one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. The hotel is also impeccably clean. If I return to Lausanne, I’ll definitely choose to stay at the Alpha by FassBind again!

Airconditioning. Temperature was locked at 23 degrees and could not be adjusted despite the heat outside. The lowest fan setting was still high - very noisy like trying to sleep on an old jumbo jet.

Location was very good, I couldn’t really rest well because of the constant noise and other factors.
Good location. Cleaning stuff was very kind. I liked the arrangement of the room.
Smoke-detector was plugged with tissue papers upon my arrival. My room was very noisy, next to the elevator and all strong noise coming up from the restaurant/loggia. I couldn’t rest properly. Room change would had been possible only with downgrading the type of room.

- A 2 pas de la gare.
- Très bel édifice en extérieur comme intérieur
- Chambre de taille moyenne mais parfaitement amenagée
- Equipements au top
- Pas de petit-dej pour un prix entre 135-160CHF la nuit.
- Du café soluble dans les chambres. Pas le vrai standing. Une machine à café et 1 capsule offerte serait mieux

J'aime bien cet hotel et ses chambres, toujours bien agréables à vivre.
Le lit est très confortable, il y a plein de lumière, la beignoire, le mini bar, de quoi se faire un café ou thé chaud, même de quoi répasser ses habits, si besoin.
Bref, je me sens toujours bien à l'Alpha.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Zimmerservice war auch sehr gut.
Das Personal im Restaurant war etwas am Anschlag wir waren am Samstag 27. Dezember essen.
Die Qualität des Essens war dann aber sehr gut.
In der Bar hat es länger gedauert bis wir etwas bestellen konnten.

Die Lage nahe Bahnhof - tolle Aussicht. Großzügiges Einzelbett. Praktisch eingerichtet. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sauber.
Der Duschvorhang dürfte regelmäßiger gewaschen und ausgewechselt werden. Es hatte einen muffigen, schimmeligen Geruch. Das war bei meinem letzten Besuch auch schon so!

Le personnel, vraiment suffisant et tellement à cheval sur le règlement, aucune souplesse, lamentable. Des robots à l’accueil sans aucune sympathie. Vraiment décevant. Vous avez perdu une cliente qui vient depuis années ds cet hôtel.
