Budget hotel with extortionate pricing

Location was 20 mins from train station, although all uphill so isn't an easy walk. They give you free transport card in the city, not sure if thjs is every hotel in town though.

Everything else was extremely poor. We paid for a 4 person room and when we checked in they gave us a double bed. When we asked to change to what we booked they said they were booked up for the night and we were "lucky" to get a room lol. The rooms are BASIC like budget budget hotel rooms but the prices are extremely high. There isn't ac in every room even though that's what's advertised. You can't open the windows in the room to get fresh air. They shower is so bad. It goes from scorching hot to cold so it's hard to even shower. I don't know why this place is so expensive it's a budget hotel.

Great hotel

Conveniently situated and friendly staff. Very clean and comfy rooms, albeit slightly small (didn't affect our stay though). Extra towels and pillows provided straight away upon request.

Breakfast is quite basic and not worth the price. No kettle in the room.

Friendly staff, good location, spacious comfortable room. Free use of the local bus, metro and tram included with city tax.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be good, but nothing to really dislike

Ver satisfactory

Electric sockets in room were all of the Swiss type and didn’t fit EEU standard plugs and adapter we brought. The hair dryer provided by the hotel did not fit either. Was lent a Swiss adapter plug by reception. This seems a bit odd.

Good central hotel but parking far away

Great central location

No parking place on arrival Saturday and you have to come back ~ 10 minute walking distance from a partener parking place - lucky that wasn’t raining

Perfect choice for a short stay in Lausanne

Perfect location just a few minutes from the city center. Room was clean and very quiet, bed was truly confortable. Staff were very helpful and kind. Thanks to Stefan on the front desk. Will for sure come back !

Good location, close to the restaurants. Very clean rooms, good in size, with good air-conditioning, comfortable beds and clean linens. The hotel provided city public card by e-mail, that was very useful. In a walking distance from the metro (~10 min).

I would not stay here again.

It was clean and comfortable

The car parking garage is very low but ok. The location was ok but felt slightly unsafe at night. When we got to Breakfast there was nothing left with no milk in coffee machine no cups or cutlery and the staff looked like they needed help as the girl was over whelmed with the volume of people.

Great value for money - recommended!

Excellent, clean and easy stay for city trips. We were here to visit a concert in the nearby "Les Docks" venue. All good and nice breakfast. Will come again.

Nice place to stay.

Great location! Centrally located. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Near bus stops and a few mins walk from the Metro. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job with our rooms everyday.

I travelled with my children; it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room.

Highly recommend, an easy short bus ride from Lausanne central and close to cafes and restaurants.

Just 5 minutes walk away from great restaurants and cafes. The beds were really comfortable and nice quiet rooms. Lovely bathroom ensuites.

Convenient stopover in Lausanne

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very useful to book our luggage in early. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast room was quite crowded at the time we came down. A big group had their luggage with them, taking up some of the empty seats. Perhaps luggage could be stored away while people eat?

Disappointing

I booked a room with double bed. I have sent a request for the additional quilt/blanket because I have sperate bedding at home. The reception replied yes to my request but when I checked in in the evening, the reception stuff said no because they needed to pay extra cleaning cost. I got a yellow blanket thant doesn't require cleaning. In addition, the reception treated the customers differently ... They offered free bus tickets to some customers but not booking.com customers.
