This is one of my preferred hotels, we've stayed in various, including the Beau Rivage, but time after time we seem to come back to the Carlton. OK, in January it was calm and we did get an upgrade, so yes, the room was more spacious then some of the other rooms. but big or small, the Carlton is still our choice.

Very comfortable, right next to the Metro Station and very nice balconies in which to have a cup of coffee in the fresh air! Very comfortable bed and huge and comfy bed pillows.

Loved the atmosphere, the suite layout, reception was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the location. Suite was warm and very comfortable, a pleasurable stay.
Not sure. I found breakfast was expensive so did not partake but saying that food overall in Lausanne was expensive.

The balcony the location the staff
The constructions and they didn't mention it before booking just after it would be nicer to know it in front...
The other guest were frustrated too and if you would have know the pruce is lower because of construction and also signs in the hotel for that that would have helped that not everybody had to tell it to the Staff. Because they can nothing for it.
