Most enjoyable and felt well looked after.

Loved the atmosphere, the suite layout, reception was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the location. Suite was warm and very comfortable, a pleasurable stay.

Not sure. I found breakfast was expensive so did not partake but saying that food overall in Lausanne was expensive.

This hotel was recommended by a family member for its ease of access to the M2 Metro line.

Breakfast was excellent . Access to M2 Metro line was 50 m away.

I wish they had cocktail bar. Two pillows than one would be preferable. Maybe a smart TV.

It was really lovely and I loved the decor, just wish cancellations policies were more flexible.

I loved the room wallpaper, the interior design! Very grand looks like a palace/castle. Princess Sissi vibes.

I wish I could have cancelled the first night as I ended up not using the room for the first night, but it was non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Looked after us really well, both Maeva and Louise on reception were exceptional. Moved our room to accommodate for disabled persons in our group.

Exceeded my expectations, staff was helpful and welcoming room was clean and comfortable, location was why I chose it and it was perfect.

Staff were wonderful, easy to check in and exchange currency. They were friendly, helpful, and shared information about the city that was useful to us. Room was small, but well appointed and comfortable.

Pleasant stay in a hotel with style and great location

The hotel has a wonderful central location; the metro is literally next door and the lake is 7 min walk about. We were also fortunate to get a parking place at the hotel, so very convenient. The rooms have a lovely classic style, and the balcony added a beautiful touch to it as well.

The breakfast was a little disappointing, as both egg options (scrambled and fried) were completely cold, even though they were served from the warm platters.

Very mixed: location - good. Breakfast - fine. Room size totally unacceptable. Check measurements.

The location is great if you want to visit The Olympic Museum , which we did and the common spaces are lovely with lots of marble . The breakfast was fine but be aware that it is not included in the room price as is the case in most European hotels.

Beware - you need to pay close attention and understand the size of the room. you are booking. The room we chosed on line showed a very nice picture of a king size bed which there was, but the picture is very deceiving as size of the room is miniscule. It is the smallest room we have ever had the misfortune to stay in. You can't even get the luggage past the entry space. Only one person could walk around the bed at a time There is no closet, just a bar in the corner with a few hangers above a small built-in shelf with the coffee pot.

A perfectly charming getaway - with a hint of luxury! Faultless!!

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel in every single aspect. I loved staying here with my daughter for her 21st. The attention to detail in this luxurious and beautifully decorated property was immaculate. Very friendly desk staff (particularly the wonderful Irish lady). Superb location so close to the lake but also cafes and restaurants. Adored the balcony and our room was immaculate.

There was not one single thing not to like. It was superb. Loved it. Would have stayed for a month if we could!!

The stay was ok. but i wouldnt stay here again unless i have no better choice.

Location was great, close to the lake, and restaurants and right next to a tram. The room had confirtable bed, and a balcony. We didnt eat breakfast there but it looked like a good breakfast. The staff was ok. They did their job ( check in, helped when asked info, etc) but i wouldnt say friendly (no smiles just straight and serious) .

Hotel is old and could use some mantainance. The hotel looks better in the pictures than it is in reality.

The room was dusty for me as I have allergy to dust. The receptionists were not enough in number, they could not help me to connect to wifi when I arrived after a long flight saying they have other guests to help and pushed me aside.

Perfect location next to the lake. Well connected with the metro line (station is right next to the hotel). Excellent classical look and feel. Loved the design of the room; very elegant. Loved the breakfast too (we had to leave early so took express breakfast which was only 12.5 CHF but was great!)

The rooms are rather small. It says 18m2 but feels like 14m2. They assign balcony randomly so when we booked two room, one got the balcony and the other didn’t. They didn’t mention that during checkin else I would have taken balcony room for my mom. Mom’s room, 115, even has broken tile in the bathroom floor; not a big deal but doesn’t match with otherwise an excellent hotel!

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable. The location was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff couldn't do enough for you! We definitely would stay again.

The restaurant was expensive even by Lausanne standards and the menu had very limited choice for vegetarians. Alright if you liked peas and asparagus for the starter and main course! This said the staff although later apologetic got my starter and main course wrong, which as only one choice of main course for vegetarians was difficult! There didn't seem to be any vegan options at all.
