Excellent option: comfortable hotel, well located and great value for money.

The superior room is spacious, cozy, with a good bed and a great shower. The hotel provides an electric kettle, coffee, milk, and tea. The room is equipped with a mini-fridge and an iron. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, bakeries, train station and the metro. The cleaning staff is efficient and kind.

I had a minor issue due to disorganization at reception. The problem was resolved immediately. The breakfast is expensive and leaves much to be desired.

Good location and clean but let down by the en-suite facilities lacking privacy.

Stayed twice due to locaction. Did not like the lack of privacy of the en-suite facilities. Toilet door did not close completely and semi opaque walls of the shower. On second stay, we were allocated a room that just had a shower curtain across the toilet and shower. Thankfully the room was changed to one like the first upon my request. Did not have breakfast.

Very good location, clean, well kept property

We stayed one night and were quite comfortable with the air con working beautifully. It was clean, newer and well appointed. It is 1/2 a block from a metro station and a five minute walk from the train station. There are several restaurants in proximity. The hotel appeared to be well run and well cared for. There was even some chocolate on the pillows. We would stay here again.

Having a coffee/tea maker in the room would have been nice. They were available in the lobby for a fee.

Only go if you want to sleep in a sauna

Clean room

The phone in the room didn’t work. And the air-conditioning system blue hot air into the room I had to turn off the heating and it became like a sauna. Since the phone didn’t work, I had to get dressed at 1:30 in the morning to go downstairs to the reception to tell them that there was a problem with my air-conditioning system which is blowing hot to air. I was treated as if I didn’t know how to open the door the receptionist asked me whether I had to turn the button on the temperature gauge and that he couldn’t help me in regarding the phone he asked me whether I had tried dialling… I finally refused to continue sleeping in that room which would’ve been impossible at about 30° and 70% humidity and you finally agreed to give me a new room. Really bad experience I don’t suggest going there in the summer or winter maybe just in the spring and autumn…

The hotel in general is great quality and its location makes it even better.

Great location but bathroom has no privacy.

Comfy beds, several big mirrors, mini-fridge, great location, quiet, spacious.

The bathroom had glass walls and almost zero privacy, and if you're considerate towards your sleeping partner, you can't even turn the light on while you shower or use the toilet. This was not clear from the photos or the room description when I was shopping for a hotel room. Initially, we were given a room "on the upper floor", and that apparently meant a room in the loft, where you need to bend over the bed under the slanting ceiling to pass from the entrance to the bathroom (I consider myself average in height). When we requested a different room, the receptionist told us off for not writing our "needs" in the special requests section. After some pushing, another room appeared to be available. It smelled like vinegar for the first two days (despite leaving the windows open all day), and was ok afterwards. However, we do appreciate that the hotel was accommodating to our request for a room with a usable ceiling height during a busy weekend.

Very stylish accommodation, excellent position in the city, close to station and metro.

We'd requested single beds for our teenage kids: they didn't want to share a double! The staff said they couldn't give us singles, as they had a tour group in, which took preference over a family. This was ok, but odd, as the bed bases were already two singles which could easily be separated. Although one of the reception staff was helpful and said they could provide an additional set of sheets so we could separate the mattresses, another staff member disagreed and we didn't get the bedding. A shame because otherwise we loved this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the view from the breakfast area is simply stunning!

It was very unfortunate that the hotel charges CHF50.- additionally for a late check-out of only one hour! That's not great customer experience even though I can understand that you have a tight schedule to follow.
