Aquatis Hotel

The hotel was excellent in terms of quality of spaces and service plus great breakfast and good restaurant (though sushi bowl was undercooked the rice). Great space for small kids to play and good gym and wellness spaces. Big and comfortable room with great views. On the ground floor you find the aquarium which is super handy for a family visit plus you get a bit of a discount for it!

One major flaw if you travel during heavy winter: rooms are surprisingly not heated - we were freezing. Even though the friendly staff provided heaters, it was either still cold or too noisy from the little machines provided, meaning we did not really rest.

Convenient location close to highway. Was perfect for my one night stay.

Quite basic not very cozy. Water boiler I had to search on another floor in special room for amenities. It was also quite cold in the room and in the hotel.

- During check-in the waiting time was very long. -Although several staff members were present, only one receptionist was actually available for the guests. - In the room, the sink was clogged. - the restaurant has ridiculous pricing; the waiter all dressed up and trying to be elegant ,forgot' our table after initial contact - I asked for a mattress to be put on the floor before arrival via chat for the toddler and they wanted me charge 25 CHF per day for a complete additional bed. My request was not accepted by the hotel receptionist Rocio who answered my request. She said it wasn't possible. She wanted to ask 25CHF for a whole additional bed; which is not what we wanted as the child can fall out of it. I explicitely mentioned that if my request cannot be fulfilled we would cancel the reservation. Just the mattress instead of a cot. I did not agree with an extra bed being put in the room for 25 CHF and however upon arrival miraculously a single mattress had been placed inside the room upon arrival. They then insisted that I have to pay 25 CHF per night upon checkin for the mattress. Now the mattress had been placed without my consent of additional payment. We would also find out later that the mattress was very small, old, stinky, crappy and thin; nothing you would like to sleep on yourself and definitely not for a child. It's the kind of mattress you would find on the streets after years of use. I then told them that I just want the room that I have booked and nothing else, but nstead of have ng to pay any additional nonsense fees. They should take the mattress out and put a cot in it. The receptionist refused and got angry and disrespectful. The insanely rude Rocio at the reception desk then told me that she rather does not want us to stay at the hotel. It was 10:00 pm and we had the child with us! I insisted to get the room I had reserved. I then got the room keys and paid upon checkin for our stay, for what I had booked.

Good sized, well furnished, quiet, comfortable room with all necessary facilities. Cheerful, efficient staff on reception. Excellent range of hot and cold items available at buffet breakfast that should meet all tastes. Free ticket provided for the efficient metro system that allows transport to city centre within 10-15 minutes.

High price of car parking on site.

The room was really great. Big and very comfortable. The only not so good thing about it was the sofa bed. It made noise and wasn't very comfortable. The view was nice. The staff was welcoming.

The breakfast was disappointing. The food didn't look very appealing. No good gluten free options, the bread tasted like plastic and nothing else was offered. The pancakes were cold even though they were brought in when we were sitting. The scrambled eggs were watery.

Closer to Metro, bright lobby, good space outside

Extremely small room, no ventilation for bathroom and there was a continuous stench .
