Location was perfect for York with bus stops into the city just a few minutes walk away and a park and ride just 5 minutes drive. huge house with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, dining room large enough for people to sit around the table, conservatory and enormous well equipped kitchen
Beds were comfortable but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Suggest you bring your own. House had been stripped of any and all pictures, ornaments etc leaving it feeling quite spartan.

Nice big place for 8 people. Located in a quite neighborhood close to parks. Shops and restaurants were short drive away.

Location is great, nice quiet walk to the main road to catch the local bus into the city. Nice parking and quiet residential street. Good sized property and rooms with clean bedding.
The property lacks soft furnishings and decor which makes a house feel welcoming.
There are no lamps in the lounge or bedrooms. The sofa is dated and uncomfortable. The bedroom door to the attic rooms doesn't close properly.
The beds had only one pillow per person and the towels, albeit fresh and white, are really quite small!
There are some odd furniture choices throughout, with trestle tables in some of the bedrooms and hallways and a random computer desk in the corner of the lounge.
The home was generally clean. Several empty toiletry bottles in the main shower room that need recycled. The floor could do with a deep clean. A large cafetiere and coffee would be a nice simple touch too.
