The owner was lovely -- very helpful in offering directions and advice about where to find things. The cottage was perfect for what we like -- comfortable, warm and inviting. As for location, it's exactly what we like -- walkable to everything we want to do and see, yet just outside of the center of town, where it's quiet and peaceful. We did not rent a car or use Uber -- we walked everywhere we went in Inverness, so this was a perfect location for us. Bonus points: The best electric tea kettle I've ever encountered!

Really like the decor, it’s an old building so lots of features which I love. Kitchen is well equipped - I stayed for a week. Very walkable to town & the river and Ness Walk is a beautiful walk - added bonus : great coffee at the Original Milk Bar. Off street parking. Brenda is delightful.

The apartment had everything we needed and was in easy walking distance of the centre of the town. The host was very friendly and welcoming and additional touches of bottles of water, tea/coffee and biscuits/snacks were a very welcome addition on our arrival.
The only thing was the quite steep steps up to the apartment and no microwave but, apart from that, everything was very good.
