Homestyle stay within walking distance to the heart of Inverness

Good price and a convenient location. Very comfortable bed and our room has everything we needed. Decor is a bit dated but charming. Very friendly staff and we felt at home.

Be mindful that you’ll need to get your luggage up some stairs to your room. Parking can be a bit tricky but it’s not bad.

I highly recommend a stay at Lyndon.

It was a very comfortable room with all what you need. Short ways to the city and the next supermarket is just across the road. Quiet area. The staff have been very friendly and supportive. I enjoyed my time there. Despite it isn’t there general offer I got some vegan alternatives. Thank you so much for your effort.

Spacious room but absence of staff and late/ no breakfast

The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was large and nice. We were disappointed that the staff were not on site and the breakfast was not as promised. The person checking us in said the breakfast would be limited since his wife was away and "she was the one who cooks". The first morning, our tour left before the kitchen was open and breakfast was served so they prepared a grab and go sack for us with a delicious granola bar, but the egg sandwich was cold. The TV in the room didn't work at all-- all channels were blocked but there was no one on site to ask. The 2nd morning we had a train that we had to catch and requested the night before per the meal sheet provided that we needed our breakfast right at 8 when the kitchen opened. Unfortunately, at 8 am, there were 7 guests waiting outside the room to open, and I knocked several times on the locked door. . No one came, I went outside, looked around the back, came in, and knocked again and still there was no answer. My suitcases were by the front door ready so we could hurry and grab some of our meal , and the Wifi failed to stay connected for us to reach a taxi. At 8:09 a young woman opened the door and the coffee was not ready, the breakfast I ordered was not started, and I reminded her that we indicated on our sheet that we needed breakfast ready at 8 so we could catch our train. We were unable to reach a cab, we had to walk to the train station, and we missed the 8:55 am train because we didn't get served breakfast until 8:25. I don't know how the breakfast service typically is, but it was not satisfactory for us.

Breakfast was excellent - nice selection and good quality ingredients. Also, host got up early to make us porridge when we did Loch Ness Etape cycle

never been to a worse place

the property was very cold they never had the heating on , we left after 20 minutes found somewhere better

cold miserable and was expected to just have toast and marmalade for breakfast in the bedroom. at 8.30 could not sit in dining room as the hoist wouldn’t put heat on DONT GO THERE

A good B&B with free parking close to the centre of Inverness.

Bedroom 2 is a good spacious room with a large en-suite bathroom with both a separate shower and bathtub. Friendly welcome, and friendly staff during my stay. Adequate free parking facilities for all guests. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special.

It was early autumn, and some heating was necessary in the bedroom, but was not provided. When using the bathtub, there was no bath foam/gel or shampoo handy (this was only provided in the shower in a separate part of the room). There was no breakfast menu, and it appeared that only a traditional Scottish breakfast (or parts thereof) were on offer. The full breakfast was fine, but nothing special. There didn't seem to be any fresh fruit or fruit juice on offer for breakfast, and there was only a very limited choice of cereals.

Lovely well cooked Breakfast and spacious room. Location very central if not noisy as on main road.

Felt the communication was out of necessity. No breakfast menu and we had to ask for anything other than basic Tea ,Coffee and standard English Breakfast. Usually most ,if not all places you have a choice of fruit, pastries, toast etc without having to ask for any of it every time. Breakfast we were asked what was wanted the next day and it was assumed it was going to be the same every day so not much freedom of choice as you may feel differently the next morning.

Truly a warm and wonderful experience.

The lady of the house was incredibly kind. She was always on hand to help, in case we needed her. And her generous breakfast was one of the best we had on our entire trip! Just a delightful experience.
