Was told at reception Keys were inside lodge ,
Bed was very soft ,could do with blackout blind in bedroom ,freezer compartment was thick with ice . When opening windows edges thick with cobwebs . Hotel next door expensive ,didn’t find it had any atmosphere ,really needed car to go anywhere else as cars can be very fast on road and no footpaths on some of it to go to other pub/ restaurant.

Only very small complaint re. Dirt in windows from tree fall, but completely understand this is not the fault of the owners and of Mother Nature 🤣

Lovely area, beautiful scenery, very peaceful, we loved the hot tub and that the lodge is dog friendly. The hotel is 2 minutes from the lodge and the restaurant was gorgeous, 10/10.
The bathroom cold tap didn’t work, no fairy lights around the lodge like the other lodges, I did ask for extras to be done for my boyfriends birthday but they weren’t, hard to get in contact with the owners.
