Satisfactory but not luxury.
Bedding clean, and bed was comfortable. Large TV and plenty of channels. Very spacious lodge.
Crockery and cutlery needed to be washed Vanity light not working, sockets at same not working. Garden area needs upgrading. Outside tables were filthy, stairs to hot tub covered in dirt. Only 1 teabag in complementary tea tray. Bedroom carpet wet on patches, walking in bare feet was not nice. Freezer compartment had not been defrosted and a used bag of ice was left. Basically this lodge needs a lot of TLC. My husband has just finished chemo and we were looking for a relaxing stay, to which we had and the hot tub was a lovely treat.

Location and setting in the woods
Difficult to find - no reply from contact number when looking for directions. Difficult to find specific chalet as no visible ID until at chalet door - not visible from car parking area. Outside lighting not working as we arrived after dark (due to difficulty finding the site)

The outside decking going in to the property and the back where the hot tub was was very dirty needed a good clean the dorma windows were filthy mostly bird poo sticks leaves

The hot tub area was nice and the bed was comfy
It was extremely dirty, we arrived at the property after a long day at work and had to go to the shops to buy stuff to clean the lodge with, there was mouldy food in the fridge and spilt milk which smelt and the property then admitted that it hadn’t been cleaned (the manger wouldn’t even come and speak to us he was sat in his car sending the cleaner back and forth to speak to us) then offered a £14 bottle of champagne and some chocolates and said that we could get some money back but we still haven’t heard from them
