Beautiful location, lovely walks nearby and the propertly was clean inside. There has clearly been a lot of attention to detail in terms of decor and the beds were comfortable. Easy check in, and I cannot comment on the staff as we did not meet anyone.
We had some communication challenges priort to our stay, with it taking multiple messages, phonecalls and an email before we could arrange to pay the additional fee for bringing our dog. A number of reviews have highlighted the same issues we encountered - mismatched number of plates/cutlery/glasses for the occupancy, interior doors warped to the point of not closing, the shower head being a challenge, and the handle of the door of the bathroom hanging off the screws. Additionally, there was a fair bit of debris in the hot tub which, upon further inspection, appeared to be flecks of paint/wood from the damaged windowsill above it. Our overall thoughts are that we wished as much attention went into maintenance as the styling.
