Lovely setting and a very traditional old interior. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Huntingtower Castle is a short walk away. Also there is a nice foot and cycle path a short walk from the hotel which follows the river.
Housekeeping was a little lax.

Excellent location close to access roads, close proximity to Perth. Quiet surroundings. Well mannered friendly staff, happy to help with anything; both reception staff and waiting staff. Well maintained gardens. Excellent breakfast selection. Clean and very comfortable bedrooms.
Some areas of the hotel are a bit dusty, needing greater attention to detail Lampshades in the dining room Radiators in the dining room
