Den Ommegang

Zeer goede BNB...alles was proper,ruime kamers en badkamer...alles aanwezig...

Ontvangst was nogal koel en kort...ontvangstruimte zeer klein...

The bed, the huge openable windows. The shower. The amazing bar up the road and the Michelin star restaurant a 20 min canal side walk away. The trains and trams. Perfect spot for stopping near Brussels.

I stayed at Den Ommegang so that I could visit some of the Lambiek producers in the area. One of them, Den Herberg, is just a bit further along the street. I used local bus and train services to visit several others. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and chairs. There was a nice view over the terrace at the back of the restaurant, which has an interesting menu. It was good to have a fridge so that I could keep food fresh and sort out my own breakfast. There's easy access to the Zennepad footpath along the river. Halle is a short walk away.

The coffee machine only makes coffee. Fortunately I had a kettle with me so I was able to make other hot drinks. There only seemed to be subscription services on the television.

De kamer die ik heb gekregen was mooi ruim met kingsize bed en een grote badkamer. Bed sliep heerlijk. Kamer was schoon.

Ontzettend jammer dat het een B&B betreft zonder ontbijt op dinsdag en woensdagochtend. Al was er maar een mandje met brood als actie van de bakker.
